I have 2 quests to turn into the undercity. I can’t get to the undercity because I am in the modern phase. I have done the quests everyone recommends doing but there is still no dialog option for her. I have completed all of the Shadowland quests in the area. I’ve seen Blizzard say they’re “working” on it but that was last year and still nothing. Can someone PLEASE just get me to the undercity?
Did you also do the BFA intro quests?
I’m pretty sure I did. What was the name of it? For some reason the forms keep locking me in as this avatar and not the level 72 Horde Orc I usually play as. I keep going to the Warchief’s Herald that everyone says starts the quest line and he offers me no quest. I can’t find the name of the quest to check on WoWhead if I’ve done it or not. I also have the Welcome to Zandalar achievement.
There seems to be differences now depending on if the character started out in Exile’s Reach (or in my Mage’s case, MoP: Remix) - so I have listed both of the starting quests for each faction.

Okay, so how far into the BFA starting quests did your character go?
Also, how far into the Shadowlands starting quests did your character go?
I’m gonna go back through screenshots when my Remix Mage had to fight to get the dialogue options to appear as well to see how far I ended up going to get it all lined back up again.
Ok for BFA … my Mage fully set up the base in Dazar’alor. That did not open the dialogue, so I moved on to the SL intro quests. I went all the way through choosing my Covenant and doing the starting quests for it as well. Since I had skip options available for SL I chose those every chance I had.

I think I got all the Shadowlands quests completed in the area. I’m not sure how far into BFA I got into. Do you know the best way to find out?
You can start on the page for the relevant starting quest and move down the line for the next quests. There should be an in-game /run script you can run on the character that will say either TRUE (quest is done) or FALSE (quest not done yet).
It will show under the COMPLETION part of the quest on its Wowhead page.
Example for Mission Statement:
See if you’ve already completed this by typing:

/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(51443))
The numbers are the individual quest ID numbers. So every quest will be able to be tested this way. Wowhead lists each quest ID number in its URL for that quest’s page.

Yes, but have you checked further into the quest chain? I was just listing those as examples of how they show on the quest page on Wowhead.

I know you mentioned this before about the Shadowlands related quests in the area. But how far did you get into the Shadowlands intro quests you receive in Oribos?
I’m not sure. I’ve flown the entire area and there are no quests popping up. On WoW head there are still 5 showing up with the shield exclamation mark.

Have you been to Oribos and done the starting quests for Shadowlands expansion?
I’m pretty sure I have. Weird part is, I just flew to a different area of Tirisfal Glades and the phase changed. I didn’t talk to anyone. I just pulled up the map and now it is the correct phase and a bunch of “trivial” quests are popping up.
And I was just able to accept and doing A Scarlet Letter. But I went to go turn it in and the phase changed again.
Most of the phase changing quests happen in and around Brill and just outside Undercity.

Oh, I didn’t know. I am pretty sure I’ve done the Shadowlands quests. I have been to Oribos and Bastion and through The Maw.
Okay … that should have covered the Shadowlands part.
Just trying to go back over what my Remix Mage had to do in order to be able to visit Undercity again. That first port there before I got it sorted sure was painful, lol.
At this point, you might just need to reach out to Blizzard Support via ticket and see if they can offer assistance with the quest phasing issue.
