I unlocked the race, created my new toon I don’t have the mount. How do I get the mount?

Check your filters. You should have gotten the mount after completing the first quest on a fresh Dark Iron Dwarf.

I did, and I checked my bank. No such critter.

Check the bags of the character you used to unlock the dark iron

I’m seeing a Dark Iron Core Hound in a Royal Satchel on your NE Hunter.
