No changes was right

We are now sliding down the slippery slope. Layering. Boosts. Same faction BGs. No LFD. Scaling dungeon difficulty. Raid lockout changes. Item level changes. Where does it end? This is why we didn’t want changes. Don’t celebrate if you like these changes, because changes you don’t like could be coming next.

I’m sure I forgot a few things, so feel free to add to the list.

I will never not support FvF, but we’ve past the line of reasonable changes for the betterment of player accessibility into wrath reforged territory.

Riot mmo when?

Hopefully sooner than later

You didn’t, but I’m sure we’ll be adding more soon.

If Blizzard wants to release Classic Reforged, fine. Do so but leave this version alone.

Ilvl change is good, no LFD is good, more difficult dungeon difficulty is good.

Layering is mandatory to make the super servers playable, but I’d rather they just have some way to fix server population

Boosts and same faction BG are awful changes.

So far the good is outweighing the bad for me.

I attempted to explain this several years ago; I was almost unanimously rejected on that opinion so… out of spite I push the cart down the road to destruction.

This is the truth, I am aiding them so they can learn their lesson, but thing is I know deep down they will not learn.

Why is more difficulty good? Why isn’t making sure the nostalgia experience is at it’s best by creating the most faithful wrath of the lich king re-release, thus ensuring that your core classic audience is served the product they expect? You say these things but have very little insight on why they are even good, let alone for who it’s good? Is it good for the younger, new playerbase? Good for the hardcore fans? The older fans? The casuals?

Is the success of classic due to the change they brought to the game or rather for the lack of them in the final product? I think it is due to how faithful it was.

Proceed to name call. You lost.

I would love a Frankenstein’d version of wow. Say classic world with kara and belfs/goats, with LK talents and tbc/lk professions?

Sounds neat. Sounds cool.

But this game isn’t that.

Agree. It would be great to have some crazed variant. It could damage the product, however. Let’s be honest though, the product is already damaged a lot.

hahahahahhahahahahaha yes.

Blizzard is the worst PR Blizzard could ever get.

Lost what?

No changes would have been better for wrath. It was never ideal for classic or crusade. Basically they applied it to the worst games they could rather than the best one.

“I mean, if people really hated these changes why didn’t they just unsub and flock to other mmo’s or pservers?”
-There’s no where else to go except private servers. Blizzard still has an effective monopoly which means they can do whatever they want.

I mean, if people really hated these changes why didn’t they just unsub and flock to other mmo’s or pservers? The truth is they didn’t, same as now. I was pro changes, but I also had a hard line in the sand for it. Why was I pro changes? Was to combat bs that was perfected from pserver players for a more authentic classic experience. Not a pserver experience treadmill.

One of the worst changes that nobody is talking about, is the fact that original Vanilla → Wrath pre-patch lasted ~1400 days, while in Classic it has only been ~1000 days. The game has been shortened by roughly 30%, and people who enjoy other parts of the game in addition to logging on once per week to raid, are really feeling the pain.

If you want difficult dungeons, then WotLK isn’t the game for you.

If you want RDF, WotLK Classic isn’t the game for you.

You’re advocating FOR changes. I’m advocating AGAINST changes. Classic was supposed to be a recreation of the game as it was, not a reimagined version of it.
