No catch up for alts

What does it matter if a new player has the cloak a higher level at this point in the expac? How does it harm you or your gameplay?

The expansion is over, why time gate all this garbage

This is the end of BFA. There’s nothing else. It’s over. We’re basically in the end credits.

You were playing and being rewarded during that time. Others may not have had that luxury.

If I recall, you couldn’t hit max rank of 15 til mid March when the pandemic started. That’s when people started obtaining Malefic Cores. And the virus had been spreading well before.

So you tried to make a point but you failed. You can get Rank 15 in 2 weeks or less now. This is about the cores which were not earned until mid-March.

Can you not read or something? Anyone who wants to be competitive in BFA was done months ago. What harm does it do to allow players to be up to par so they have a chance to experience the expansion?

Again, BFA is dead in the water. There’s nothing else. This content is all we have for months, and I really don’t want to spend it dealing with time gated BS.

there’s no new content, no new anything… no further content for bfa is being made so yeah the expansion is over once the pre patch SL event hits everything will be scaled down hp/dmg wise

It will still take several months for people to catch up which is not fun. When a game is not fun, people tend to not play. That is not healthy for the game.

Why do you care about being caught up to me?

You will hit max cloak in September, same time as I do.

Of course you should be behind. You didn’t play through the entire expansion. Why in the world should you be able to completely and totally catch up to those who have?

As it is, you can catch up enough to do any content you want. That should be enough.

There is no good reason you can give why I shouldn’t be able to catch up a little sooner. All you’ve given is “I played, you didn’t now deal with it.”

Such a stale mentality that I see hasn’t changed in my 10 year hiatus.

Oh I would be fine with faster catch-up for alts, I think most people would.

Up to the maximum of your main character’s cloak, of course.

That’s straight up the attitude of a lot of people. I have no idea why. Having higher corruption resistance doesn’t mean everyone is going to be clearing CE all of a sudden. It just means that people don’t have a time gate in addition to all the other character progression they need to do.

Yeah. I’m behind on this toon, my main, because 1. Visions annoyed me so I just stockpiled coelescents. 2. I didnt realize I couldnt just spam visions to catch up. Oh well. It upsets me they keep doing this stuff so I just wont do the content. As for alts, lol, I’m not jumping on them every week to catch up. Boring content isnt my preference.
