I have the Epic version but haven’t received my “early” invite to Beta.
It doesn’t start until Wednesday, and even then, I doubt we’ll get an invite. We’ll probably just be able to log in and play.
It’s literally a selling point of buying the Epic edition though
Beta starts June 5th.
Right. But the specific part is the “invite” which in the past was an email informing you that you had been selected.
Since we are essentially buying our way into the beta, I doubt they are going to send out those emails since you’ll know if you have access or not. Instead, we’ll probably just download the client and play if we’re eligible.
But, to be fair, the announcement says Epic edition purchasers may receive an email.
Early game access (3 day) is the selling point. Getting access to beta is a bonus if my memory is correct.
Everyone who purchased beta access will receive it Wednesday.
Email or not, it won’t matter.
“Players who purchase or who upgrade to the Epic Edition of The War Within will also gain immediate access to the beta and gain a minimum three-day early access to the expansion.”
Make sure you take advantage of beta access to dutifully report any and all bugs to Blizzard so we get a tighter launch product.
stifles laughter
How is it that people keep confusing the 3 day early access to the EXPANSION as 3 day early access to the BETA? Seriously?
Check your Download launcher where you select version type. There should be an option to download beta if you’ve been selected.
Idk, I rack it up to people just looking long enough to see the beta with epic edition and not reading the full info.
It’s important to report and document the bugs so that we have threads to link to after release when we’re complaining about the bugs they knew about but didn’t fix
Just wait for the pissed off folks when they realize their beta progress doesn’t carry over to live servers.
“Players who purchase or who upgrade to the Epic Edition of The War Within will also gain immediate access to the beta and gain a minimum three-day early access to the expansion.” So the 3-day early would be today.
3 day access refers to the official xpac launch date.
Beta access is for testing and bug reports. It’s a treat for us.
Read that again. To the expansion. The Beta isn’t the expansion.
ITT: People having no reading comprehension.
WoW players are at a third grade reading level, tops.
They can’t even spell “Rogue”.
Lol did you buy wow delux thinking you’d actually get a beta invite? The past 5 extension did the same gimmick
Beta starts on the 5th, and yes, the Epic guarantees beta access, but at a time of Blizzard’s choice.
