No Beta invite yet

Yeah after all CE players played it lmao

Acthually, from a material perspective…

Last time players got a beta invite as part of a promotion (The annual pass), beta invites were given out in waves as normal, and shortly before the beta went to an open public beta, annual pass holders who weren’t selected for the beta through normal means, got in.

So if you thought getting beta access for your pre-purchase meant you got instant access when the beta went live, you might be in for a disappointment.

This is a complete sentence.

But they literally said that we are getting instant beta access this time:

I feel confident we will have Beta access on Wednesday.

pay more to test our product for us… what a deal lol but you do you, it start wednesday

There are two different things going on in that sentence.

First:

Players who purchase or who upgrade to the Epic Edition of The War Within will also gain immediate access to the beta

Second:

gain a minimum three-day early access to the expansion

You get two different perks there.

This is the basic grammatical function of a compound sentence using the conjunction “and.”

As we mention in our guide on how to write better sentences, compound sentences combine two or more independent clauses. The key here is independent clauses, which are clauses that can each stand alone as a separate sentence.

I didn’t pay to get access to Beta. I probably won’t even play the beta for more than a few minutes to check out the changes to my talent tree. I’m not a fan of playing a game when I know my progress is going to reset and my time be wasted.

I got the Epic edition for everything else. Beta access is just a perk.

I don’t know why these people are so concerned with how others spend their own money.

I got the epic edition for the cosmetics and tenders. The beta access and the 3 day early access to the game are just perks on top of the cosmetics.

I make for a bad beta tester since I’ll just mess around with customization options, look at mogs, mess with talents/hero talents, and mess with earthen. I’ll report anything egregious I see like typos or talents not working or whatever, but I’m not going in to the new zones to test things out.

There’s at last 2 threads today we’ve been trying to explain this

Legit.

If they aren’t paying other people’s bills, it’s not anyone’s concern what expansion version people buy.

Here’s the reality… If you want to test beta. Prove yourself as a player. Otherwise you’re going to be last in the phase when it’s just to test stability most likely. Your feedback holds no value to Blizzard if you can’t have CE. Part of why so many people buy carries.

It’s literally opting in once beta is announced and or getting the epic edition.

If they based off entirely skil with playing the game I would have never gotten beta for Dragonflight after years of putting in for betas.

You don’t have to prove yourself as a player to buy the epic or to opt in. :dracthyr_shrug:

What? 99% of the expansion has nothing to do with CE so why would they only give access to CE raiders? That’s just silly. There is FAR more world content that needs to be tested than raid content.

Streamers get it because they give free advertising, so that’s a little different.

Yeah, it’s why I’ve only gotten beta back in mists? When everyone had beta and now TWW since I preordered the epic edition. I’m not saying I deserve beta, just saying that me preordering the epic edition has nothing to do with the beta access I’ll get on the 5th or the 3 days early access. I only cared about the cosmetics and tenders.

Also not sure what being CE has to do with all of this or why you’d bring up carries.

That doesn’t included first access. Cutting Edge does however.

Again it does not.

I got Dragonflight beta in first round and I don’t do CE so yeah, doesn’t work like that.

Just how it’s always been since MoP. Why would you want someone who does bare minimum to provide game mechanics, boss fight, class tuning on feedback?

When it comes to more fluff, more people got access such a quest bug and what not.
