What stops people from changing Alliance to get free gear and change back? Limit literally did this.
That’s not the goal? The goal is to get players that normally would play alliance, or want to play alliance to come back to try to balance factions. Instead they go or stay horde because that is where the high end communities went.
Giving one piece of heroic gear does not change that…
You dont do that by getting free gear. The issue isnt getting people to go Alliance, its keeping people Alliance.
And this decision will not keep people alliance. It will continue to grow the horde bias narrative. That is the point.
Because Alliance in the US didnt get the open content advantage three times in a row, rather than just twice?

It worked the exact same way when heroic Stromgarde came out. Where the horde got to attack the zone before S3 launched with EP. Likewise with now, the alliance got to attack Darkshore before S4 launched. Both times, the faction that attacked prematurely had to wait for the next time they attacked to get the heroic warfront.
Not everything is horde favoritism. This is an example of one case that isn’t. We have known about this for a long time. Your failure to do any bit of research does not mean blizzard is biased.

and herein lies the problem why would anyone on alliance go do endgame content when they get free handouts every week of the same IL. Path of least resistance, fyi there isnt a faction imbalance just a participation imbalance
Because a warfront will make Alliance players start participating in raiding, keys, and pvp… right, right? lol
They made that choice. Horde complained. They said it wouldn’t happen in the future, that additional warfronts would make this equal.
But they didn’t add more and its not equal. They should have left it or followed through.
