The latest 10.1 PTR update has added some of the new hair and eye colors for the female Nightborne, whereas the male Nightborne has had just the new hair colors added.
Really loving some of the new additions!
The gold and blue eyes go exceptionally well with the skin tones and hair colors available to the Nightborne.
This hue of pink makes the Nightborne look a little bit..sinister?
I find that the green eye option is a little bit washed out and lacks the same level of pop as the other options.
Like I said earlier I’m still trying to solidify my opinions, but I think the red color intrigues me a bit. It is quite distinct.
I understand not wanting to be negative. When I post my feedback on the hair colors I want to make sure I at least have a proper suggestion for the ones I don’t like.
I’m still holding out hope we might get some unique animations before Dragonflight is over!
Nice! I’ve got a male Nightborne Warlock as well. There’s something about the male Nightborne’s perma-angry face that lends itself well to the Warlock class.
Yeah, unfortunately, the male Nightborne don’t have the new eye color options available. I wasn’t expecting simple eye color additions to be so impactful on the female model, so I’m excited to see how it’ll look for the male model, as well.
When I first saw the eyes, I thought for sure it was a nod to the Felborne, but their eyes, and the fel green eyes of the Blood Elves, is a very specific type of green I don’t think they captured.
That being said, I think the green option would be great for Warlocks, especially if they bump up the oomph on it a little.
If having nature-esque green eyes needs lore justification, the Nightborne did consume the fruit of the arcan’dor which was created in part from life essence taken straight from the Emerald Dream.
I would love it if Nightborne had access to an eye color option that was violet, similar to what’s available to Blood Elves. Arcane magic definitely has stronger visual ties to the color violet, and would make a lot of sense for the Nightborne to have.
I think I’ve had a change of heart for the new blonde/red hair colors. I think having an even paler blue skin tone option would make these colors more flattering, but we can still work with what we’ve got.
Yes, nightborne could get a fel color skin. We have npcs for that and that could be nice to use this skin for them.
Highmountain tauren could get a fel color skin too because of Bloodtotem tribe (Feltotem) and they could be warlock. Same thing for the Draenei and the three Man’ari Eredar skins for them (I think for warlock we could see this later).
