Considering that the Felborne were loyal to the Legion even after the liberation of Suramar, it’s hard to make sense of this particular visual identity being available to the playable Nightborne.
Like…there were Felborne on Kil’jaeden’s ship in the Twisting Nether when you go to defeat him. They were undeniably evil to the core.

I’ve never wanted the Darkfallen appearance for Nightborne, and have stated on numerous occasions that it’s actually grounded in the lore for them not to have it as they didn’t participate in the major war events (Burning of Teldrassil, Siege of Lordaeron) whereas the Night Elves, Blood Elves, and Void Elves are directly shown to have.
The new eye color additions were added for the male Nightborne on the 10.1 PTR. In my opinion, the new eye and hair colors are less flattering on the male Nightborne than they are on the female.
This is one combination I thought looked decent.
How am I just now noticing how asymmetrical the male Nightborne’s eyes are? Asymmetry can be seen with both eye shapes, and is present in the female Nightborne as well, to a slightly less noticeable degree.

So Basically Nightborne are High Elves now? I thought they were Dark Elves.
What prompted that question? If it’s the blonde hair and blue eyes combination, well, the Nightborne had a blonde hair option at launch but did not have access to eye colors until they’re released in 10.1.
I think a tendency toward lighter skin and hair colors makes sense considering how the Nightborne didn’t see the sun for 10,000 years when the barrier was up.
At least Nightborne getting the hair colors and eye colors they are getting makes sense somewhat due to being away from the rest of the world so long and strong connection to Blood Elves/High Elves, it’s not like they are RPing and pretending to be something they aren’t like with Void Elves getting stuff they got from Blood Elves.
I wish they had an option where the ears didnt have the upturn

Okay yeah now after reading this whole thing… how were the nightborne approved in this state? They look horrendous! Missing textures, low quality textures, etc.

You stand on a flimsy pillar of condescension and dismissal over void elves “stealing” customization as a golden-eyed warlock, which is ironic for a couple reasons.
I never said they stole anything I said it was shared with them, please learn to read.
Yes I do use the golden eyes and that’s customization that was actually given to the High Elven race which is Blood Elves because of the sunwell being holy and arcane based, anything shared from us to Void Elves was given begrudgingly by devs to try and get people to shut up about not getting High Elves on Alliance which was never the intention anyway.
Regardless this is a Nightborne thread so there is nothing more that needs to be said about the wannabe bargain bin Blood Elves.

Honestly if I could just get an actual pink hair color for my Nightborne to go with the upcoming pink eye color I’d main mine instead of this one or I’d race change this one, either way.
