Night Fae Hearthstone Toy Linked to Hearthstone?

Why is my nightfae heartstone linked to my regular hearthstone? If that’s by design, what’s the point of the toy?

All toy hearthstones are linked to the normal hearthstone. Unless you mean something entirely different.

That’s so stupid, what’s the point of the toy then?

Save 1 space in your inventory, like all toy hearthstones. If you read the description before purchase, it clearly states it brings you back to your designated hearth location and is not a new location. It may be confusing if you set your covenant hall as your current hearth location.

I think he, and myself, thought this was a specific hearthstone for your covenant area. Seems like we were both greatly disappointed… just another hearthstone skin

Same. Waste of 750 anima. I thought this was an easy way to get back to covenant. Seems like poor advertising. I obviously didn’t read the description well enough, but many places have their own hearth, so assumed this was actually a decent reward for once. All the covenant rewards are garbage so far.

I am also confused but as my HS was in Sinfall already, when I read the toy and then the “Fluff” with it, I to thought this was another HS location for us.

+1, was disappointed by this.

2 places = many? That being your garrison and Legion Dalaran.

Unless you want to include the cloak teleport to SW, the ring teleport to Wrath (and legion) dalaran, can include Jaina’s locket in this too (which creates a portal to Wrath Dalaran). Plus the Boralus / Dazar’alor ring from the warfront token vendor. If you include those, you are only at like 5 or 6.

Just made the mistake of wasting anima on one just to find out its a regular hearthstone. F

Add 1 more to the list that thought this was a great idea by Blizzard to expedite some tedious travel. Should have known…

750 Anima trap. Shame on you, Blizzard! For shame!

Same boat as everyone else. One of the worst purchases I’ve made in this game, besides 10+ years of subscription fees. Yikes!

I don’t understand everyone’s problem. Each holiday we get a new skin for the hearthstone, I didn’t read about it but expected it to be a skin and thats all. I guess most people are just lacking in common sense.

If this expansion is like the rest after a few months you will be looking for things to spend anima on. In Draenor, legion and BfA I know at the beginning I was worried I’d never have enough resources then all of a sudden I was waiting for them to make it limitless

The point of the toy is to add a cosmetic appearance to the otherwise normal hearthstone. This has been the case with all other hearthstone toys as well, and is nothing new.

+1 Doh It got me too!!!

Well, I suppose I can at least put my hearthstone in the bank and put toy on action bar.

Item and quest descriptions this xpac have been terrible to decipher. It’s like nobody proof read anything for clarity. I have the shadowlands wormhole generator as an engineer. If I realized this toy shared a cd with my hearthstone I wouldn’t have bothered. It’s redundant. I bought it and used it once then shelved it. Like others said, a waste of anima.

The TOY hearthstone could of had a better description…for those who never bought or used a toy hearthstone before.

*Side note. Speaking from the NF Covenant, when you fully upgrade the travel network you get a portal to Oribus. (Other Covenants probably do that too. So…near the later half of SL, you will eventually have a Covenant Hearthstone AND the ability to get to Oribus quuickly…
…until the release of 10.0 and you set your hearthstone to the new faction HQ and can’t get back to your Covenant without taking a very long trip.

Thanks blizzARD!
