I would have liked to reach this post before loosing all this anima… I too believed that it was an additional stone.

Yes it say to talk to an inkeeper to change the location, but I tought I could change the location in ardenweald for this particular stone… I should have known it was too good to be true.
It’s the first (and last) “toy heartstone” that I buy.
Based on the massive confusion caused by these toy box items even despite the existence of numerous holiday-based hearthstone toys over the last few years, it seems clear people don’t pay attention to that.
Blizzard could very easily add “Shares cooldown with your standard Hearthstone” to all the toy box hearthstone tooltips to alleviate this.
Reading is too hard these days. People would rather get angry at blizzard because of their own ignorance.
Unless your hearthstone is set to your covenant hall before buying the toy, there shouldn’t be any confusion.
just got tricked by it too. what a waste. there should be a separate warp item for your covenant.
The tooltip is clear that it sends you to your hearthstone location, and not a new hearth location.
You can actually sell it back for a full refund if you notice your mistake within 2 hours…
people who don’t know what the item does, probably wouldn’t find out until they’ve already added it to their toy-box (at which point they can’t sell it back)
I came back for the 9.1 patch and honestly I’m still having problems grinding anima, I bought this thinking it will save me time returning to my grove but apparently I didn’t understand how it worked exactly like my regular heartstone, I did opened a ticket right now tho, if they don’t refund the anima I’m leaving the game for good.
I’m sure that wasn’t some kind of ultimatum, since they don’t have any influence on the GMs. So I wish you the best of luck with wherever your gaming endeavors take you.
“common sense” is a misnomer anyways. But hey, leave it to someone to ALWAYS make disparaging remarks about a person/group of people people that complain about something that you have no problems with. Instead of trying to understand it from their point of view, I guess its just easier to be a jerk. Hey, at least you added something illuminating to the conversation.
