Night Elves and Forsaken don't need new cities

Varian literally looks like Arnold schwarzenegger in his prime. I have no idea how you can equate that to being black.

And even if they were to introduce it, while phenotypes of a mixed phenotype marriage can lean in any direction, it does make it all the more tedious to essentially have a ā€œtokenā€ Black Grandma in the Wrynn family tree.

Itā€™s why I wish blizzard had the courage to just flat out make a certain amount of the Major Human Lore Characters be Black or Asian.

Changing someoneā€™s phenotype shouldnā€™t be considered a retcon if Iā€™m perfectly honest, given how in WoW all the Humans are the same heritage (Robots with Lovecraft Monster Curse) and phenotype diversity isnā€™t due to geography or otherwise.

What a convenient wording. At least kill and resurrect with ordinary necromancy ā€¦ White is like corpses, and his hair will fade (?), But he is still the same Anduin.

Thankfully baal is not part of the lore team.

I am really thankful they dont let racists in.

ā€¦
Can it be applied the other way? Make a bearer of non-European culture ā€¦ a European?

I donā€™t think anyone is disputing that. Iā€™m replying to the lack of black humans(pre customizations.)

Ah so his grandmother is black in the movies but not the game.

Yeah the movie-based comics introduced Varianā€™s mom as Black.

If Iā€™m understanding what youā€™re saying right, then uh, yeah, necromantic energy has sapped a lot of the colour from Anduinā€™s skin and hair. Doesnā€™t mean heā€™s dead though. I mean he might be, but I donā€™t think he is.

Unless Iā€™m missing something heā€™s advocating for more racial diversity in WoW. Howā€™s that racist?

It can get tricky, I agree. But then, weā€™ve put native american culture into the hands of some giant cow people and some big blue tusk boys who donā€™t wear shoes and really like pyramids, so at that point cultural appropriation probably becomes a moot point where human skin colour is concerned

Edit my formatting went to hell so I fixed it

Have you not read his posts? He clearly judges everything on Race or skin color first and foremost.

A clear racist behaviour.

Oh just ignore Finninbas, he believes ā€œreverse racismā€ is a meaningful concept and likes to say dumb things. Iā€™ve had him muted/ignored for like, almost two years I wager?

Excuse me itā€™s Native American Minotaurs and Afrocaribbean Trolls :stuck_out_tongue:

Behold WoWā€™s worldbuilding

Anyways yeah, just make more Human Lore Characters into Black or Asian phenotypes.

They already did so with Natalie Seline actually! She was made Black in Shadowlands.

yes yes baal I am aware of your post earlier about me. Hell I was made aware of them the moment you posted.

I find the fact you are calling me a notorious ā€œALLIANCE SUPREMACISTā€ laughable btw.

Your other opinions of me doesnt bother me in a single bit.

Removal of bones (horns, canines)? Wearing boots with the ā€œrightā€ foot? Demon, how to assign a phenotype to a creature that does not have a phenotype? Perhaps the color of the fur ā€¦ but who, the demon, will notice? It will simply be ā€œexpanding customizationā€, not ā€œincreasing representation of the oppressed.ā€

I refuse to back track 100 post to see how we got here. Alas, get in where you fit in.

Just roll with it.

I mean weā€™ve kept the conversation consistent lol

but yes, Varianā€™s mom being Black was introduced via movie comics and in-game we havenā€™t been shown/told her.

Changing some Major Human Character (e.g. Below Varian/Anduin/Jaina, but anyone Natalie Seline and higher) phenotypes would be fine imo

But if WoW gets a realm reborn restart, I do expect Varianā€™s mom to be canonically black and some changes thereby

In an ideal world stormwind could have as the soughtest kingdom of humanity more of an near east influence shown compare to the clear european centric north.

Kulā€™tiras as rennaisance italien/spain mix
Arathi as northmen/viking mix
Lordaeron as holy roman empire/french mix
Alterac as more slawic based influenced kingdom
Gilneas as british framed kingdom.
Dalaran as a mix of all.

World of Warcraft isnā€™t real folks. Orcs, Troll, Elves, Undead, Anduin, Dwarves, Lordaeron, Pandaren, Sylvanas, and everything else isnā€™t real. Itā€™s all fake, existing only in an abstract consciousness that is infinitely mutable.

Nothing that anyone believes about it matters because there is in fact a difference between something that is real and something that is not real. So if you find yourself doing things like accusing people of being white supremacists or something because of this crap you need to log off.

I would like to think that the current conversations are a result of the real life recent lawsuits and how those alleged despicable people influenced the story.

Notice we really didnā€™t have those conversation here before then, if so they were seldom.

I mean, I have been talking about Sexism permeating the Corporate culture at Blizzard for years, and saying it was evident in how they write their female characters, and deal with the Night Elf story. But this community laughed at me then.

tbh, add it to the long list of things I have been correct about.
