Shal Bindelah’naras: The Night of Resting Guardians
The Dreamer’s Constellation glows brightly amidst the firmament, the most recent of many reminders of that which the world has lost that She wills to weave into the heavens. Yet it is from these threads, spun of the deeds of our valorous fallen and the greatest of this land’s champions, that those who remain to protect our fair Kalimdor draw the truest strength and hope. While it is the task of Lorekeeper’s to account for the deeds within each individual star, and the great tale woven by their stellar bindings, few Kaldorei are without bonds of spirit and passion to the land and their kindred. Bonds so taut and firm that death itself cannot fully overcome our will, as the Great Mother leaves a piece of us to tend the land even as we take our place amidst the endless stars, awaiting the final night.
Beneath a sky crested by the Night Warrior’s Moon, recount the tales of those whose strength She has preserved, to persist in the heavens until the Hour of Twilight. Amidst the mending roots of a crown that has long united our bloodied people, take solace among our people. At the summit of our heartland, where long ago we found new purpose and life by the Dreamer’s blessing, affirm your bonds with the earth we tend and your fellow Kaldorei in the sharing of those tales we have each carved into our memories, to better serve us in guiding the destiny of Kalimdor.

Location: Mount Hyjal, Warmode Off.
Attendance: This event is tailored to provide a fantasy of Kaldorei lore, embracing earlier depictions of a people who viewed their afterlife as both a Wisp in nature, and part of the heavens if Elune deemed their valor great enough to raise them to ride through the firmament. As such, this event is open to all Kaldorei, though some distant from the values of their culture might not necessarily like some of what Kaldorei history and stories might say.
The What: Create a story! Something about the legacy of an ancestor, an honored friend, the Ancients, lesser spirits of nature- anything a child of the Warrior Steward culture of Kalimdor would see as something noble, significant or valorous for the Great Mother herself to grant great longevity and view within the night sky itself. Tales to speak of the glories and sacrifices made to guide Kalimdor’s future, deeds and stories to carry forward until the final night of this world, honoring the spirit of the Kaldorei and Kalimdor itself with an homage to those who best exemplify the spirit that have kept the Kaldorei moving forward since the days of the Sundering.
The Where: Mount Hyjal has a few great spots that one might overlook while flying past. The pinned location here, specifically ledge within the roots, fittingly a place where the Kaldorei’s purpose was found and faith was affirmed in the creation of Nordrassil. Location with a Map Pin
