Here is an idea… Why wasn’t it Tyrande chasing Nathanos from Darkshore when Azshara did her thing?
2/10, wanted a kiss. No kiss, no score above 5.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
god is this the story forms or what, how many times does blizzard need to say that elune is very much related to the light.
The request is “we don’t want peace with the Horde until the person they enabled up to and even after the point she nuked a homeland full of innocent people is dead”.
That seems like a perfectly reasonable response all things considered, call it revanchist nonsense if you wish, but I rather think it’s quite realistic that peace should still be a very difficult thing to achieve and the people who don’t want it for their own understandable reasons should be treated as valid in their perspective.
I think what is going to happen is there will be brief conflict between Night Elves and the rest of the Alliance, mostly just with Anduin, but like many inner conflicts with the faction it will be short-lived, I don’t think the Night Elves are going to get themselves even more killed than they already are.
Tyrande is the only valid character that should face Sylvanas later, I feel though, regardless of what Night Elves position might be. They certainly won’t have the strength in army to go it alone, but I think the Night Warrior is the only thing I predict will be capable enough of facing Sylvanas and her recent DBZ-esque power-ups.
Posted 1 hour ago.
Yeah I guess not, oh well, this has been the only thread I’ve been looking at before and after a long walk, but fair enough I guess.
Night Elves as a whole deserve revenge.
N’Zoth conveniently makes his calls for peace “right”. But from the looks of it, he intends to stretch out the armistice after the Old God dies. Meaning the Horde gets away seemingly unscathed (by the Night Elves) for Teldrassil (lore-wise).
There are other ways, but killing every last Horde soldier still occupying Night Elf land (not just Darkshore and Ashenvale, no) is a start. It’s on the Horde, really.
When the wrong is of the magnitude of Teldrassil, it’s really hard to put a limit on where the justice ends. It’s Blizzard’s fault for putting that in.
Yeah. Thousands of her people -civillians- were burned alive by the Horde, not counting those slaughtered on the path from Orgrimmar to Darkshore. And the most the Night Elves have done in retribution is… killing one Val’kyr.
New and unreleased development shows her falling into the Void, and taking the Army of the Black Moon into madness with her. Hence why Tyrande must be cleansed, as per request of Shandris and her husband John J Keeshan.
I think I’m gonna be sick.
And where does it say Shandris doesn’t want vengance on Sylvanas? She wants to make sure the remaining Night Elves don’t die off from starvation and cold before getting to do that.
Tyrande is pushing the same nonsense that made me dislike Genn in the first place, putting your personal vendetta over the welfare of your populace. Nevermind the fact that they’re grotesquely outnumbered and all having them succeed will achieve is wreck my suspension of disbelief even more.
What’s really sickening is that this isn’t entirely farfetched.
It’s kinda funny to me looking back. Nelf fans and Forsaken fans have had a lot in common this expansion, despite utterly despising each other for the most part.
This is not the sole request. Sylvanas dying is one of the notable items… but “making the Horde pay” is a definite second or even first.
Sylvanas being killed is definitely a term anyone can agree to.
And the Horde? They were complicit with Sylvanas, throughout all of the War of the Thorns, and afterwards. They continued serving their Warchief unquestioningly, all the way up to Baine’s arrest. Hell, the majority allegedly remained with Sylvanas until she dissed them all to their face and flew away, and some still stand with her apparently.
We started this expansion with Teldrassil being burnt down by catapults, had the Alliance and Horde swap the high ground 4 or 5 times in one or two quests as the plot demanded. If you’re still keeping any suspension of disbelief, it’s awfully selective.
God if even one part of that happened It’d kill off what little hope I had left. Especially Tyrande being forgiven by Anduin barfs
I would just convert to Classic full time… Which… To be honest, I already pretty much have.
I find it funny that you think the nelves could burn down a horde city without blizzard punishing them in the story, your as delusional as the sylvanas fans who thought sylvanas loved the horde.
Well… they -could-
The writers just wont though because… You know… Who care about night elves ammirite?
I don’t really see anything unreasonable or whiny in that person you quoted, no.
Sounds more whinging to me to try to hamfist real world racism into a discussion about reasonable concerns that Blizzard will continue to fall back to the same old tropes just like they did with this expansion.
They wont because its a story they dont want to tell, they want the alliance and horde to come together and build a better world
don’t feed the troll.
