Night Elf Mega Thread - Please Stop Blizzard

Loyalist stuff was for a considerable portion of the Horde for the entirety of the expansion. Night Elf stuff only mattered for one single patch and wasn’t the primary focus.

BFA was an Old God Expansion in disguise.

considerable portion of the Horde>>>> Aliance

that’s the problem.

It is not a secret that Darkshore was cursed lands and ashenvale and Teldrassil was much closer to their home.

I mean that’s exactly what happens at the end of BfA

They were given the direct order to kill unarmed civilians? And they didn’t question a single bit of it?

Large=/=Majority

Genocide== mass murder ++

That is the simple definition and the one normally used.

Some of the Horde do not like the term so they deny it.

as if that erased somehow that they killed thousands of innocents and did not even feel bad about it.

That’s right, not even the pacifist bull of anger over that, but when they wanted to brainwash an Undead they remembered their ethics and morals.

It’s not a secret this is all just your headcanon.

Yeah because that’s what they’re doing by ditching the Alliance.

What I mean by sad boi stuff is stop with this over dramatic-super sad one word answers.

Yes because by being told to only attack soldiers by a scout sent by Saurfang, you are killing unarmed civilians. Sylvanas had the rest rounded up and executed. Those who rounded the civilians up were soldiers ordered by Sylvanas, who were only doing it believing this would help protect their faction’s future.

Well, the Horde loyalist stuff was key to the war campaign. The Night Elf stuff didn’t matter as much, as it didn’t really involve the faction as a whole. Regardless, there’s more story coming soon for you guys as it was confirmed a while back.

Investigate things in the next expansion as part of everyone’s leveling.

Why am i not excited?

Well, good thing a genocide doesn’t have to be a majority. It doesn’t even have to be a quarter of a population. It just has to be a large group of people.

Or do you not consider the Holocaust a genocide? You’re aware majority of Jewish people on the planet didn’t die there, right?

If 8.3.5 were about Tyrande hunting Sylvanas and Nahanos, maybe he would be more excited.

Honestly, if Tyrande goes evil but manages to kill lots and lots of Forsaken, along with Nathanos…I’m okay with that.

Blizzard should simply give the Alliance, the night elves the reins of the plot in the final moments of BFA to slightly redeem their inability to tell both stories.

the horde had enough time for the reins we should be allowed to make the link with SL.

And it might sadly stay like this. Recovered on paper like Ashenvale was while in game the city was still on fire. But who knows, maybe Blizz will undo all that and keep It as an instanced warfront for gear and stuff. They might leave the Cata version at best, though.

In addition we all know that Blizz plot apart I will not move a finger to reflect in Game the alleged victory of the Alliance.

Why are that statements there is no material in game, Comix or stories / books.

Perfectly tomorrow, Blizz can do the same thing he did with Gilneas and leave the areas abandoned and in eternal conflict.

The only way we could see these reconstructed areas would be in a hypothetical Time lapsus at 10.0

Here, have this seat. Let me help you out there, so you don’t have to play with words or use semantics to make excuses for war crimes. The writing team LITERALLY used the words : “Sylvanas Windrunner had committed genocide.”

Try hard to redefine the word genocide if you want. Not working. The writers specifically chose that word and emphasized it.

Also, the introduction of the night elves specifically states: “As one of the few night elves left in the world […]", implying there is hardly any left. That is BEFORE the invasion of Ashenvale, and the 2nd Invasion and genocide. Use common sense and understand what 2+2 is. Don’t try to make it 16.

Only Tyrande is ditching the Alliance as if she was some kind of crazy witch and getting set up as a raid boss / quest boss.

So they did the most evil things possible just because they thought it would benefit themselves, thanks for proving my point. That’s exactly what evil villains do.

That’s not being evil, that’s called getting justice.

That’s literally what I just said. This guy is treating it like genocide means majority and not just large.

Yeah I know what genocide means. I literally just said it means a large group of people. You’re treating it like it means majority.

Yeah I didn’t see that anywhere.

It definitely was the majority as there were barely any Night Elves left elsewhere in Azeroth. Elegy mentions “far too few”.

Ah okay. So the Vanilla intro. I started after Cata.
