This is true, the amber eyes would’ve been a better representation for highborne, too bad blizz went dumb and made them blind options instead.
Human new hairstyles look weird but they got the best face customization by very very far.
The blood elf are still the arcane society living in the kingdom of Quel’thalas which mean ( high home) and which defend everything the Quel’dorei meaning was for.
Clearly better than some elf who now follow every order of tree hug elf or those that follow human order living in human city.
No, we do not. I just went back into game and double checked both races and both genders. Markings are distinct and different between the two. Sometimes there are subtle nods that almost look like claws and moons with the Nightborne, but they’re nods. We do not copy Night Elf markings exactly.

Defend what the Quel’dorei was for? blood elves mix with trolls and orcs and have groveled under the worst warchiefs. Addicted to bloodthistle and fearful of the void now your well is more holy than arcane.
Sadly nightborne are roped in to the factions now but at least we never bowed before a troll or an orc warchief. Not that the zombie psycho was better than them but we didn’t know better before.
Huh, that’s cool, they actually brought some highborne stuff, at the very least the Night Warrior skin color untied to eye color + Auburn like Dath’Remar’s.
Well, depends if you want your character to be Asian or Black.
For whatever reason Blizzard locked the face options to skin colors as well as tie the scar options to faces for Humans.

Blood elf don’t mix with orc and troll… They are in the same faction, but troll and orc don’t go at Silvermoon and blood elf don’t make children with them. The blood elf leader were also those who have gone against warchief other pretty fact when they didn’t agree. The blood elf that followed garrosh and sylvanas order were acting on their own.
Its not like alliance elf who live with night elf city and human city instead of their own city. Its also alliance elf who make children with human. I have yet to see alliance high elf going against human order or alliance highborn going against night elf order.
Also the sunwell is said to be as much arcane as holy. And being addicted to those kind of power is pretty much one of the thing that make highborn different than lowborn at first.
The “arcane” tattoo has the druidic symbol for female face marking. Compare to night elf male tattoo and you will see. Same symbol.

Again, I did compare, and no it’s not. I even went back and checked a THIRD time and no, it’s not the same marking. I have no idea what you’re looking at. Evidently you have access to more markings than me. Perhaps a picture would help.
Edit: If you’re talking about the one the Nelf cat form has, it’s definitely not. Ours has two downward “claw” strikes and a semi circle near the top/side. The Nelf cat marking only has one downward claw strike, no semi circle.

Because that is the case. Her rejecting the Nightborne but letting in the Highborne was the icing on the cake in terms of character assassination.
With that being said… i think the current options they got for shadowlands was a step in the right direction. Male and female Nelves spread around their eye customization and amber eyes for females did a lot of good.
Just needs more fancier circlets and necklaces. More fancy Highborne hairs.

Yup some of them still workship elune.
And this is clearly the moon symbol.
So its 100% make sense that the NIGHTborn who still workship Elune for some of them could have a moon symbol.

Oh, you mean the thing on their shoulders and on the female Nightborne’s forhead. I was looking over their eyes and trying to compare with other facial markings specifically. My bad. Yeah, the moon with the dot is just an Elune symbol. Nightborne moved away from Elune, but she’s still their goddess. A few of em prolly follow her, and there are moon symbols all throughout the city.
At this point they prolly wear the moon symbol like a lot of us wear a cross. It’s a nod to a popular religion they kinda half believe in, or because they think it’s pretty.
Edit: I’m pretty sure the reason all the druid races have it is just because Blizzard, outside of thematic forms for each races, doesn’t want to design different symbols for each race.
Also, back to the topic of this thread, the Night Elf Highborne I’ve seen in game mostly just have pale skin and white hair. You can do that now. Can even add gold eyes. Someone even pointed to a dialogue entry that stated the normal Night Elf Highborne basically look the same as the normal Night Elves. That said, I wouldn’t say no to a few more clean hairstyles, and maybe that blueish skin colour Azshara used.

That’s because the highborne doesn’t have much development. I can see them using elegant jewelry and hairstyles. Their markings should be more arcane oriented than comum night elves, purple eyes would be nice too.

Yes they do. They might not be breeding with them (that we know of) but they are in the same cities and same camps. Funny you say they don’t go to silvermoon when there’s literally RP npcs visiting the city. And no, Lor’Themar might have disagreed with Garrosh but he was still working under his orders, same with Sylvanas who he feared.
The sunwell is not said to be anything other than purified by a Naaru as we had no other update and it reacts badly against void, it’s clearly a holy well.

The Highborn do exist as Night Elf mages. The Highborn look exactly like Night Elves.
If you need more proof just go to the Well of Eternity dungeon through the Caverns of Time and see for yourself.

While speaking on this subject can someone tell me the night elf highborne skin customization they added into the prepatch @ barbershops? The Skin tone I am using is #7 out of 13. Please help. TY.
In the same city? Only few soldier ( not civilian) are some time in horde camp. But even there, most of the time that the blood elf have a real presence, its in blood elf camp.
Yeah, visiting, not living. Blood elf are in fact the race with the less present in horde city. They dont have anything in Orgrimar like other horde race and and rarely part of any military group that include other race.
And even if they do some time, its nothing compare to alliance high elf who literally live in human city.
Its was actually already confirmed in a Q&A that the well was both.

Night elf could have paint or mark, but rune isn’t something really nightelf-ish.
