NEXT ZONE: Undermine

If I was placing bets? Yeah. I see the next zone being the rootslands with Gallywix leading the Venture company to go plunder it for wealth and chop it up.

So the Na’vi vs the (very green) RDA.

The Black Blood is the obvious dangling plot thread. Investigating it could reveal what Xalatath was up to, and where she went. Because she definitely went somewhere, and certainly isn’t posing as Khadgar.

I assume The Darkness is black blood related and would show up there.

Yeah for me I’m really hoping we see a proper American styled metropolis. A mashup between New Orlean’s Bourbon Street, the NYC / Chicago buisnesss districts and the Las Vegas Strip. All with a coat of petropunk anarchocapitalism fleshing it out.

It should make a Zandalari scoff at it’s opulence and cause a Dreadlord to boggle at the amount of fine print clauses in their most basic contracts.

If they can’t make it a crown jewel type of zone I’d say not to bother with it. This is one of the areas on the first full map of Azeroth Metzen penned though so hopefully they do a good job. But we’ll see.

Of course you do. Alliance players love it when Horde races lose their flavor and stop being against them. Alliance bias par excellence.

I’m sorry, did I miss the part where I cared to hear your opinion?

Goblins can still be a great race without being greedy scumbags.

Being greedy scumbags is their whole identity. That being lost is something a certified alliance fanboy would want because it secures that they won’t harm the alliance again in the future.

You’re acting like I think this is real life.

Go outside, seek help.

You see this is why we all insult you.

I have an opinion that can’t be moved if you hate that that is on you alone.

I love Goblins the way they are and Comrade Monte must be hanged for his treason.

Yeah, most people living in the past are like that.

The Goblins in World of Warcraft are known for being all about profits and putting themselves first, but that attitude can only take them so far, especially within the Horde. If they really want to thrive and make the Horde stronger, they need to shift away from just focusing on greed and selfishness. Here’s why:

First off, the Horde works best when everyone has each other’s backs. Every race brings something unique, and for Goblins, that’s their tech smarts and resourcefulness. But if they’re always in it for themselves, it hurts the bigger picture. When they start thinking more about how their skills can help the Horde as a whole, not just their own pockets, everyone wins.

Then there’s the matter of safety. The Horde faces a ton of dangers, from the Alliance to bigger threats like the Old Gods. If the Goblins are too wrapped up in making a quick profit and ignore the Horde’s needs, they could end up weakening the group’s ability to fight back. By focusing more on the Horde’s security, they’re actually protecting themselves too.

Plus, let’s be real—Goblins don’t exactly have the best reputation. They’re often seen as opportunists, which makes it hard for other races in the Horde to fully trust them. But if they show they can be loyal and work for the greater good, they’ll earn a lot more respect and influence. That means more say in how things are run, which could open even bigger opportunities for them.

And about profits—being part of the Horde can lead to some long-term gains. Sure, Goblins love making money, but if they help the Horde become stronger and more stable, that opens the door to even more business and trade opportunities. Playing the long game could actually be way more profitable for them in the end.

Finally, Goblins have the chance to evolve beyond just being seen as greedy traders. If they show they can balance their knack for business with some responsibility for the Horde’s future, they could redefine what it means to be a Goblin. They’d still have that entrepreneurial spirit but also be seen as real leaders and contributors to something bigger.

If Goblins move past their selfishness and start thinking about the bigger picture, not only will the Horde become stronger, but they’ll also secure a better future for themselves.

Doom posters have eight years of experience to draw from.

They just went from new world tree alliance patch straight into another alliance patch.

The anniversary is our next patch. They stated it flat out in the announcement video. So that’s yet another patch in this finite expansion without new horde story telling.

I will ignore the wall of text which is most likley just alliance propaganda.

A coward, like most members of Horde.

Seriously dude, go outside.

I think because a lot of people just dont really care.
I think TWW sort of failed to grab a lot of people from a narrative standpoint.

That sounds very interesting given we haven’t had HD Goblin content for a long while. It’s time to finally see the Goblins get some HD Treatment for once with their buildings, props, and all. Hopefully we finally beat Gallywix too as a boss.

Poor Motherlode, lost and forgotten.

I’m really not expecting much out of Undermine. It’ll probably just be a megadungeon.
