I’m genuinely shocked that nobody is talking about how just about every single goblin quest zone in TWW Has been hinting at the Undermine being adjacent to the Ringing Deeps.

I really don’t want anything goblin related from Blizzard ever. It is clear they will ruin that opportunity to make the Goblins worse and change their whole society. So I believe the first major content patch should include the Harranir and their society build around those Elden Roots. That is much better of a theme.

I think they could do the goblins in a very fun way. Blizzards storytelling ability is far more fun the less serious it takes itself.
Wait scratch that. The current writers will make it extremely cringe and no fun. I can see the long drawn out questline about implementing worker safety regulations in goblin society now. I take it back I take it back.

Everyone fears osha, but here I am thinking of what goblin osha could look like and how quickly it could be subverted or corrupted for greedy purposes.
Just look at real life unions and how swiftly companies work around them, Or how the union does basically absolutely nothing but cowtow for the company.

Figure this. Why turning another Horde race like goblins into loot food. When you instead could have new content with a fresh race we sever saw before?
If the new content with the race we’ve never seen before wasnt another variation of elves I would be inclined to agree with you.
They are more trolls then elves mind you. Three toes and all. I found that cool.
You would think as someone who probably plays this game since warcraft 2 to the point of making it their entire personality trait, you personally would know that goblins are not a horde race.
They have been absolutely neutral since their inception with the sole exception of bilgewater cartel.

You do have a point there. Maybe its my anti elf hatred clouding my vision as I would far prefer dealing with a new group of trolls.
Goblins are a Horde race since Warcraft 2. A core race even. And I refuse to kill any of them which is why I desertet every other dungeon before.
Off topic but I would grab my step stool just to bend a harronir over a table.
I fully appreciate them becoming an ally race.

The Haranir even have druid forms which resemble the stuff other trolls can turn into. They might be the missing link towards it but apart from that they share nothing with the rest of those pointy eared pricks.
