Weapons and rings don’t, but azerite does. Everyone is grinding out mechagon rings and the raid has guaranteed corrupted weapons anyways.
Inb4 people complain about getting azerite gear instead of corrupted gear.
Also, way to drop this change on the week that people need to run 4xStormwind to upgrade the cloak. Surely no vessels will be wasted. (maybe this is a moot point when no one is getting the cloak though? top kek)
Once you have received all ilvl rewards ranging from 420-470, gear will no longer drop from HVs. That does require 8 runs, so you should probably just run the 3-5 highest difficulties you can handle per week.

Unless it takes 20 minutes just to get the scouting report to drop. 
This sounds great, but in this scenario Blizzard makes far less money on token sales for 5 million gold BoEs.
The Activision accountants probably did the math and came to the conclusion that buffing corrupted drops from HVs to keep people logging on doing dailies makes them more money than continuing to let whales or dumb people trade real life money for insane game changing items they knowingly and purposefully allowed to be traded.

Let the corrupted gear drop 100% from m+ and give us a freaking currency to reroll corruption with or corrupt our current gear.
How is it this hard for you people to understand no holy priest wants to sit around doing solo visions to get IT gear???

So can you cap corruption damage in pvp or something please? Just letting 3 prot paladins, double lock/DH or even PMR queue with 200 corruption is going to be such an unpleasant experience.
Beta or testing servers don’t work well with this kind of stuff. It’s great for testing out actual content, but gear systems like this only show their true colors once the game is live with a large player base than PTR and the longevity of live.

Sorry, the idea of being able to reliably get the gear you want and be finished with it scares Blizzard because that means you might not log on every day until Shadowlands.

The problem is Blizzard thinks we want to farm pieces and equip 455 gear because it happens to have our bis corruption even though we’re pushing mythic. It’s just ridiculous that FORCING US TO DO CONTENT NO ONE WANTS TO DO for the chance to get SLIGHTLY MORE PIECES is going to be a fair compromise

EXACTLY, they don’t even understand the problem here. Joe blow hasn’t done normal nzoth doesn’t give an orcs behind that he doesn’t have 200% of IT active - we want corruption from the gear we are grinding out in raid and m+ and have LESS RNG than chest,
all you guys have to do is give us a currency to reroll or corrupt non-corrupted pieces how is this hard

Speak for yourself, not everyone loves visions, they didn’t even think to balance them for solo healers on day 1 and the grouping meta is broken. The currency you need to run them is tied to running boring dailies that you literally have to fly to and from the quest giver to turn in
I cannot possibly fathom why you’d want to grind out gear that way

Blizzard has literally made this the worst patch I’ve ever played in this game due to the lack of account bound essences which has made switching mains tortously hard and this awful corruption system that has players literally picking what character to play based on who gets rank 3 TD, I mean it’s just an ill thought out system that feels completely random instead of being rewarding
