Really happy with the changes across the board so far but as multiple people have already requested, can we please get Single Minded Fury (SMF) back if other classes/specs are getting their options restored.
The wording is a tad ambiguous. It reads like they plan to give Immo Aura to Havoc DHs. Technically we already have it. Making it baseline is nice, but it doesnāt help/fix what we need. Also, itās in the same slot of talents that grant Resource gen, meaning itād just be replaced with another one.
We need depth to our rotation. Blade Dance NEEDS First Blood for Blade Dance to even be usable. Without it we not only do less DPS but we also have the most god awfully boring rotation in the game.
Itās stuff like that for DHs. Itās due to the nature of being created when it was. It needs more abilities, talents made baseline, and those talents replaced with more interesting choices.
StM was overpowered in Legion when we had Mass Hysteria stacked beyond +100%. Once it was capped at 50 stacks people stopped using it and without MH at allā¦
Slam for Fury? Shield Block? IGNORE PAIN? For Fury? Heck yeah! This is awesome!
I thought we would be seeing Necrotic strike back for DKās. Maybe that was too OP?
Menace has also been redesigned with this theme in mind, empowering Intimidating Shout to cause all enemies to cower in fear for a substantial amount of time, knocking back those that are not the primary target.
A fear and a knockback? Depending on the range and magnitude of the knockback, I foresee many hours spent guarding Lumber Mill in my future. I also canāt think of one instance in which this will cause grief.
Void form and insanity are staying? Yikes.

PLEASE. Youāre doing it for Shamans, PLEASE do it for Priests. Bring back their MoP Mastery (all dots have a chance to tick twice) and bolster their AoE. But for the LOVE OF GOD please GET RID OF VOID FORM
Shared shock cooldowns were awful, though.

This. I think they should bring back more weapon customization back to all classes that had it before. DKās in general, not just frost. 1-handed dual wielding as well for fury. But overall, i think these are good changes.

Blizzard, please, please extend this to Survival. Iād kill a man to be able to use fists and 1h axes, and Iām sure plenty of Orcs out there would relish the opportunity to be a little more Rexxar-ish, even if they canāt do it as BM.
All these class changes mean little until you tell us how youāre going to take everything Azerite traits and Azerite essences do for us now, and move forward in Shadowlands.

I would like say hello first and share my concerns, please note that I been playing wow for years now and this is the first time Iāve ever posted something as I feel that our feedback is valued.
As such and without further delay, I would like to advocate for Arcane mage, as a under played spec, I feel it is over looked way too often, I can already see things within the suggested class updates that raise my concerns, one thing of such, is the shared three abilities to all specializations, Arcane receives Frost bolt and Fire bolt both of which are single target abilities, however, Frost and Fire specializations get Arcane explosion? an Area of affect ability? feels like an odd choice, why not give Blizzard and Flame strike? or Arcane missiles?
Moving on to another point, Focus Magic the new talent, seems like Arcane only benefits from it for a short time? once more, seems odd.
Yet another thing Iād like to mention, since legion, I have noticed abilities removed from arcane mage such as Mark of Aluneth, and many baseline abilities made into talents, if possible, please provide us with more abilities, from what Iāve played in Legion and Battle for Azeroth, Arcane seems like it always has to compromise between single target or Area of effect, examples that I can mention are, in Legion, we could switch gear in mythic plus which made us preform somewhat well, however in Battle for Azeroth it feels extremely frustrating as the option to switch gear in mythic plus is no longer a possibility along side with the fixed cookie cutter talent choices that forces the player in a either/or situation.
As a final addition, I would like to address the ability Arcane explosion, as it has a small range thus forcing the player to go into melee range putting them in risk or making boss fights that target ranged players with special abilities awkward, I feel that it would be amazing to have a higher reword for it, in Legion we had Explosion echo as a talent in artifact, however, that is not the case anymore, if anything, it feels like it punishes the player due to heavy mana cost and standing in melee.

I like all of this. In fact, I like everything Iāve seen about Shadowlands so far - except Covenant abilities.
Fix that one thing and yāall will go from dumpster fire to great in no time flat.
Looks like Restoration Shaman didnāt really get much in terms of changes.
A few totems returned, which is a nice start. Surge of the Earth sounds interesting as well, but likeā¦ Can we get some changes to our Mastery, perhaps?
Our Mastery alone is the reason we havenāt been strong in top-end raids/Mythic+ for years.
Why give a spec a Mastery to snipe heal low-health targets when we donāt even have an instant-heal that can heal enough to be impactful when someoneās low?
Compared to Holy Shock, Holy Word: Serenity, or Swift Mend, they all do more than our Mastery does.
How do we snipe-heal low health targets that need urgent split-second help when we have one instant-cast spell, and itās incredibly weak? ie. Riptide.
Not only that, but we need some kind of gameplay other than spamming Healing Surge in Mythic+ to barely stay afloat and keep people alive during something like Grievous.
Old totems and a single new talent doesnāt do anything for our boring, outdated, and poorly competing gameplay.
just make one weapon needed for both hands ala legion it feels bad otherwise.
