I love the monk changes. I’m gonna be a little furry ball of death!
PVP is going to be awesome with all the “new” old spells back!
Warlock’s Doom spell has a problematic effect to summon a Doomguard. The chance to summon a Doomguard is slim to none since because it require to have Doom’s to kill a target which its close to impossible.
While true, the fact remains that DHs were created in a time where classes were nearly gutted. It was created with less to compare to how classes were at the time. We have no abilities to return to us like everyone else.
So, where does that leave the class? Again, look at the notes. Havoc literally gets nothing new. Immo Aura is already a talent, one we all take. So like… what now?
For marksman hunters
Please bring back mobile cast Aimed Shot
Also, please remove the aoe cap on trick shot
If frost deathknights are having a choice of using 2hs again , can we please let enhance have a choice of using a 2h again? that would make playing enhance better than what it is now, also I like what you guys are aiming for enhance in shadowlands but I still think adding 2hs back will give the class its option to be different from others.
Similar to their Havoc brethren, Vengeance Demon Hunters who choose Demonic will temporarily enter their Metamorphosis form following a Fel Devastation.
I’m hesitantly a fan of this, as long as this doesn’t mean Gluttony is completely gone. I really want to see it baseline because turning into a hulking demon randomly and tearing into your enemies with your bare hands is just so visually awesome to me. Only doing it after Fel Dev/during Meta would suck.
Make all the passives Baked into the class for the love of god please do this that is literally the best idea make talents choosable button presses.
If they’re giving talents as baseline, you can expect new talents.
I wonder how this is gonna work with the Legion Artifact Weapon for Frost? I know you are technically can transmog the Artifact Weapon over any weapon, but 1 2handed Sword is vastly different than 2 1handed swords, different animations and attack speeds.
Will the Frost Artifact weapon turn in to actual Frostmourne when transmogged over a 1 2handed weapon?
Also; loving the Warlock changes so far. Our curses making a comeback? Unstable Affliction lasting longer at the expense of no longer stacking? I am looking forward to being an Affliction Warlock again.
A lot of these changes and updates sound great, tbh. I haven’t looked at everything, but I like what I’m seeing so far.
Class changes feel a bit conservative as described. Grats to all abilities that make a comeback, but I guess I hoped for more MoPness to come back to second to second combat.
Don’t think holy power on a holy paladin is going to feel good. Unless it’s something like build up holy power to use big heals, but still using mana for smaller healing.
Shield of the Righteous available for all Paladin specs?
Does this mean Ret is going to be allowed to play a sword and board DPS style? Because that would be amazing!
Ive always wanted Ret to be able to play with a shield where they use their shield to not defend but just beat everyone in holy servitude of the light!
I know… it wont happen but a man can dream though… a man can dream
As someone who mains a Warrior but also loves Shammys:
- I love the changes to Warriors. Curious to know if we will get the ability to dual weird 1h weapons as Fury or get the ability to transmog our weapons as 1h weapons?
-Also, I love that you’re bringing sword and board abilities to all three specs (and thereby making the other two specs Gladiator specs in a roundabout way) but do the abilities in Arms/Fury require two handed weapons or will they work if I’m sword and board?
- Love the changes to shamans! Some questions:
-With maelstrom out, whats replacing it? Mana? Some other resource?
-Any chance Shammys can get two-handed weapons?
I genuinely think the resto druid changes are not good.
-
Swiftmend consuming a hot just feels bad and that’s why that aspect of the ability was removed in the first place.
-
The fact that Nature Swiftness does not work on Cyclone or Nourish just seems weird. If you want to make a return to the original essence of those abilities then NS should work on all nature spells. Also
-
I don’t understand the wording of our mastery, are you changing it to how it used to be in cata where a casted heal increases the healing of our HoTs or is it the current BFA mastery. If the latter then it is strange that Swiftmend would remove a HoT therefor hurting our mastery and an essential part of the druid kit.
I hope that this swiftmend change does not go through and that druids would receive some sort of raid damage reduction cooldown in order to keep them competitive in a raid scenario. As of now druids bring nothing to the raid other than tranq and I do not think that stampeding roar is enough of a reason to bring a druid over a glimmer pally, shaman utility, or priest.
Not exactly thrilled with the Resto Druid changes. Loosing Typhoon is going to really suck. I am not thrilled to see Nourish come back or the Swiftmend change either. All in all it feels like a change to something “less” than what it is now based on paper but I’ll have to play it to see.
also not a mage idk why it says i am
Yeah, I was wondering what that aspect would mean, concretely. Maybe the “Shield of the Righteous” ability could simply take a different form for ret? Anyway, interesting.
I kinda fell off playing my shaman since they added maelstrom, it felt different than when Mana was the resource. I’m hoping it goes back to cooldown based shocks with Mana and not some kind of maelstrom substitute.
