They…already do?
Yes, but in what I was saying, that would be the only undead they summon unless glyphed.
The rest would all be spirits. No more skeletons and ghouls when casting Army or Apocalypse.
People keep whining that we can’t have Unholy DK and Necromancers at the same time, so there’s a good fix.
I really think it is great that a lot of core abilities are being brought back. I am very excited to see the changes that will be implemented with Shadowlands. I am however a bit upset over the lack of changes for druid. I have played as a resto druid since Vanilla and have been rewarded with great changes and felt robbed with others. I am quite sure that I speak for many of my fellow Druids when I say that a few core abilities special to druids were MOTW and Thorns. Yet, there is no plan to reimplement those? Very sad… One thing that I would like to suggest since changes are happening, give us the ability to move while channeling Tranquility, Please give us back MOTW and Thorns and reduce the mana cost of our hots. Many thanks!!
I absolutely love survival. It is the most fun spec in the game for me. It’s a fun, engaging and surprisingly fast paced melee spec with intermittent ranged options, gap closer and good mobility with traditional/core hunter toolkit. I hope they leave the spec alone. I’m glad I am not the only one to enjoy this spec!
I hope they give survival dual wield.
Berserk is back… that’s it? So nothing new or exciting for Guardian Druids while every other class/spec seems to get something? Well, I guess I’ll not need to renew my sub. Just more time to play FFXIV. Thanks ActiBlizz.
Yes, very underwhelming what druids get. As a tank, I got nothing.
I have a couple questions:
Dps warriors: will the newly returned defensives require equipping a shield?
Frost/blood DK:
Will raise ghoul be the temporary pet from around Cata or will it be like unholy? I didn’t mind frost’s raise ghoul from previous xpacs but I don’t want a permanent pet.
Why wasn’t army of the dead un-pruned? That’s one skill that I really miss. I feel like army of the dead is a defining skill for dk in general and should have never been pruned from frost.
With Frost DK getting 2-handed weapons again, can Blood and Unholy get the option to dual-wield? Brewmaster Monks are getting the option, why stop there?
I have been a survival main since legion launch. Please push to make mongoose bite baseline and hunters mark off gcd. I’d be happy with just that.
I Am one of the last SURVIVAL HUNTERS that raid for mythic content and have mained SURVIVAL HUNTER Since legion I LOVE THE SPEC in every way shape and form, I just wish Disengage and MONGOOSE BITE were baseline abilities ESPICALLY MONGOOSE BITE . Please blizzard make this change and bring something new to the tree I BEG YOU. Survival hunter in LEGION was FANTASTIC AND FUN untill you nerfed the tierset bonus and made it unplayable. Mongoose bite is LITERALLY what SURVIVAL THRIVES off of. Please make it a BASE LINE ABILITY TO MAKE IT MORE COMPETITIVE WITH THE REST.
I still don’t understand this. Deep Wounds only lasts a few seconds, you have to use active spells to maintain it, and your attacks still feel like they hit pretty hard. Unlike the situation with Frost DKs where an inordinate amount of damage comes from auto attacks and where other attacks feel like wet noodles, my Arms spells (as I said) feel like they hit like a truck, and having to maintain Deep Wounds still requires some effort – or, at least, following your rotation, anyway.
Or which ever class they don’t like. My guess in BFA one of the developers didn’t like shadow priests.
Was hoping the level squish and refocusing on class over spec would mean a return to more traditional talent trees or a completely new talent system… this system of talent rows where you only get one talent per X levels and can change it out at any time whenever the situation calls for it really waters down the choices. What impact do the choices have if we can change them at any time? They aren’t tied to our character identity at all because there isn’t a semblance of permanence.
Dear Blizzard Devs,
What are you thinking!!!
Arcane mage was under preforming in all content, Mythic plus, raid, Arena, battle grounds … etc.
So why would you make Arcane power 3 mins cooldown when it was 1.5 mins???
I do not understand? why? the arcane spec has been dead for through out legion and BFA? so why this nerd? it was under preforming so much to begin with? I seriously can’t comprehend.
It is a core ability that we use not only as a dps cooldown but as a mana management tool, and having it on such a long cooldown is just going to break the spec??? please Blizzard change it back
Yours truly
Arcane mage with heart stroke
Edit: even with new talent [Enlightened] which is basically word for word what Equipoise Azerite trait stacked three times and Mana gem, it will not be enough …
If anything a buff for mana regeneration is needed, at least out of combat for mythic plus, I beg you Blizzard don’t break Arcane, it has been suffering for many expansions now.
either way works for me. SV being melee revived my desire to play hunter.
This is a really interesting issue. Permanence makes choices significant, but it also punishes bad decisions. This is where we’re at with Covenant abilities, because people don’t want to have to deal with the consequences of bad balancing, and want things like a restrictive talent row to lighten the consequences, or any number of other mitigating factors.
It’s easy to say because I don’t do Mythic raids or PvP hardly at all, but as long as they’re relatively close, I’m okay with not being the best at everything. That’s why I’ll get to play with the abilities and make a choice, and it’s why I’ll have alts. If a choice is really so bad, then yeah I can change it. At least there’s that option.
The BloodTalons changes for Feral do not make rotational sense. The combo of abilities can potentially be interesting, but using those 3 in quick sucession would happen fairly infrequently in comparision, and how only apply the buff to rip. So in its current state its a comically large nerf, and also takes away some of the flexibility and skill in timing the BT… Strongly recommend reviewing
Also dont take Survival Instincts
Personally I think maybe playing Paladin more dedicated since Wrath or the Lichking and been around Paladin players since Vanilla. Holy power was probably one of the single most ‘un-fun’ mechanics I’ve ever dealt with. Cool downs and procs are fine. Why do we need to pretend to be a rogue to do DPS, heal or even to tank? I fully understand Blizz wouldn’t want to see BC rets running around again Divine Storming people to death but i mean…number tweaks and cooldowns…fixed! and sure sure “talents would need to be changed”…okay…you seem to be good at making those on the fly too. Just my opinion but Paladin being a favorite class of mine. I’d hate to see it butchered with the abysmal holy Power Mechanic again.
