In SL, each piece each piece of gear can be upgraded six times, I guess, and the cost per upgrade varies depending on which piece you are upgrading – in general increasing in price each step along the way. I just wish they’d just let us get the gear at the maximum ilvl right away, scrapping this upgrade process altogether. Everything has to be dragged out to death in this game. I just want (at least somewhat) effective gear to do unrated BGs/Skirmishes. I mean, I’m glad I can restrict my activity to this area of the game and earn gear, but it could be a lot simpler (and less annoying). Additionally, I can see that PVE gear from relatively easy content will always trump PVP gear… I guess I’ve come to accept that as much as it sucks.
yeah, but conquest will prob be cheaper because of it’s weekly hard cap. Were honor is infinitely spammable if you so choose.
Pvers would cry about feelings of being obligated to farm this for raid set. However I say that would be great, I bet ques would be instant.
Duels aren’t the only pvp aspect of the game.
I agree. Makes no sense to have mythic raiders 2 shotting people in WOrld PVP and battlegrounds. What a terrible way to design the game.

Yeah totally agree but there are so called PVP players advocating for this rather than wanting to go back to a pure PVP game for the players that enjoy it. PVE players dominating PVP something is not right.
People didn’t like that you had to actually use skill to win at PvP

My guess is yes. PvPers aren’t afraid of bnet invites/duels.

MATTER of fact, I was mopping up a rogue with a similar name earlier tonight in Ramiken on my DH, could of been him.

To be fair though, have to duel to find out. I am fairly sure I killed someone with a similar name tonight a few times, BUT that was abusing guards in the City, so not a fair fight DH skill set favored in that context.

Plenty of forum vets on here would duel.
It’s not a proper duel unless it’s a naked duel. The idea is to see who is the better player, not who has the better gear.
