Hi, I’ve recently returned (haven’t played since cat… maybe a little MoP) and I cant find any of my characters. Thought I remembered the realm, but I guess not. Service is kinda difficult to use. Anyone have any tips? I’ve tried the lost item located and armory… TIA, I was looking forward to going through my old tools and reminiscing.
Do you remember any of the character names/classes?
That would help a forum SFA (Moderator) as they might be able to have a look around when they into the office later if you can provide more details on the characters.
We have had several stat squishes since MoP, so the level of the characters you remember would be lower now.
Did you try creating a new character on the realm you remember? This will often get the character list to populate.
Did you have more than one wow licence on the battle.net account? If so, make sure you are logging into the right one (check the pull down menu near the play button on the launcher).
Good luck, hopefully they can be found!
Thank you!
I remember Kazzo, Katherine, Zilorn, Zildjan and its between Kul Tiras, Tichondrius, Darkspear maybe? It’s been a long time.
I did try the recommendations you mentioned, and have not had success yet.
Here’s to hoping, thank you for your advice and help!
Well as long as you didnt delete them that wont be a problem but the names wouldve been released snd there was a lvl squish.
While it does look like you’ve had this Battle.net and WoW license for awhile, as far as I can tell it has just been a Starter account until you recently upgraded it. Any character on the account has been newly created.
Now it does appear you might have a second Battle.net account that you did have characters on. I don’t see a character named Katherine, but the other names you listed do appear to be on it.
You have characters of varying level across several realms, Darkspear, Detheroc, Jaedenar, Khaz Modan, Kul Tiras, Ner’zhul, Stonemaul, Tichondrius.
Hopefully, you still have access to the email address. If you do not, you’ll need to contact our Support staff to get the account updated. I can give you a hint as to what the email is and hopefully you can find it.
The email seems to be your name, plus a number, and it’s an @gmail account.
Since you appear to have recently upgraded this license I would highly recommend submitting a refund request. You may be able to use the self-help option, which will look at your recent purchases and let you know if they qualify. If they do not automatically, please put in a ticket. Let them know that you upgraded the wrong account and need a refund. Then you can upgrade your other license once you gain access to it.
I hope that helps. Welcome back!
Hi, thank you so much. Katherine was a typo, its Kazzer, Kazzo, one if those. I dont have the email, even after looking and your hint. I have tried a ticket, but am unable to provide the information theyre asking for. Is their a support number to talk to a person and resolve this. I want to play, and on my old account, ID be happy to buy another license, but can’t find out a way to regain access.
Nope.
Why would that help? It’s not like you’re gonna schmooze 'em with your mad persuasion skills. They need that specific information to recover the account, period. And a ticket is the only way to provide it.
No, there is no direct phone number. The Support staff responses to tickets submit through the Support Site.
You don’t know what email I’m referring to, or you don’t have access to it and are unable to recover it through gmail?
I don’t exactly know what they might have asked without a ticket ID, but generally it would be account specific information. Such as old purchase history (which might be difficult without access to the email), the name on the account, btag, etc… which you definitely know one of those. The old address registered to it, looks like it’s the same town/state, but if you recall what street you lived on, that might be helpful. Character names/realms, those kinds of details.
APologies, I don’t know what email. I found 1 that seemed promising (had a battlenet creation from 2011), but it wasn’t it.
I’ll create another ticket. Thank you!
No, the Battle.net account was created in 2008, it looks like. Let’s try this… the email is your name, what appears to be your full name, including middle initial. It has a 2 digit number at the end, maybe a birth year. ![]()
I got my account back. This is amazing. Thank you so much. Your help gave me the info I needed. You’re a hero. Seriously, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this. I’m some middle aged dude sitting in front of my computer with tears in my eyes. You did something nice for someone today.
I"m very happy to hear it, Kazzer.
A lot has changed over the years, so if you need a hand or information on how something works, the New and Returning Player forums usually has a lot of others who like to help out. It’s a lot to jump back into if you haven’t played since Mists of Pandoria.
We had a level squish with the Shadowlands expansion, so your visible level will be lower than you remember.
Good luck!
Edit: Make sure you put in a refund request soon. The closer to the purchase it is, the more likely we’ll be able to grant it.
