So those who didn’t watch anything about the last Blizzcon didn’t believe me when I told them Blizz said they wanted to do yearly expansions for The War Within saga. And others didn’t think Blizzard was capable of handling yearly expansions…
And here we are with beautiful World of Wacraft Midnight releasing late next year 
They said 3 years for The War Within saga, and 3 years is what we will get, give or take a few months maybe.
Quite the ambitious project.
They said 18 months between expansion, not yearly.
Also Summer 2025 is when it’s being announced in more detail not launched.
I have been anticipating 12-18 months until the next expansion launches. They have said as much. I think that roadmap shows a hearthstone for the housing at the end, so that either represents the new expansion or the prepatch where we get all new shiny stuff.
Also, I think Season 2 is around February 11th

I think you’re wrong actually. The expansion won’t be out until late 2025. Maybe even early ‘26.
usually it takes 8- 10 months after reveal for an expansion to launch

They’ve been saying “we want to get expansions out faster” for over a decade now. I’ll believe it when I see it.
I want to say TWW was announced around the same time as the Fyrakk raid was released…so unless they skip the Awakened/Fated season, they’re on the same pace they were in Dragonflight.
We’re just going to see the cinematic next year, that’s all.
They said more info, not launch… also why would they release season 3 mid 2025 with the expansion…
on top of that, the whole saga is suppose to end 2030… which means
2024, 2026 and 2028 for expansion releases, every 2 years or so as it’s always been

Feb. 2026, a new one every 18 months.
Which puts the final expansion at October 2027, that would be 3 expansions in 3 years roughly.
Yup i hardly paid attention to it n noticed that.
Time will tell on that one. Their longer term ones more recently have been a mess, so we’ll see if they can do better with shorter ones.
I predicted the same. TWW feels too “small” and “short” (it’s not without tons of content and ‘teeth’ though) to where it felt like it would be a 1-yr long expansion. Unlike others which went over for 2ys or so. Not quite a “micro-‘expansion’” either. But no surprise if Midnight comes out a year later and The Last Titan in the year after that.

The War Within was announced in November, roughly 10 months before the release, in August.
According to the roadmap, Midnight will be revealed in September-ish (that is if they don’t postpone it to Blizzcon in November) 2025, so released 10 months later, in Summer of 2026, 2 years after TWW.
Literally says Midnight announcement in Fall. So launch in 2026 summer. Like TWW.
Sidenote: Blizz has wanted yearly expansions since TBC.
There’s no fated season on the roadmap - although that implies they can get the expansion out by early 2026, which I have my doubts about. They rushed War Within launch and look where that got them, servers on fire and weeks of emergency patches.
