I suspect because they know they have Middle Earth Online in the works. And they are trying to differentiate the games in some way.

I believe Middle Earth Online was cancelled.

I heard that had been cancelled, or am I wrong?

I know Lord of the rings online was cancelled but who knows, they are doing a middle earth tv series on prime in 2022/23 release so maybe they are pushing it back to see how the show is received. Oh now I see yeah tencent got it cancelled boo!

The servers sure make it feel like it. 16ms and 60fps and choppy af

I’ll wait to make sure they’ve completely fixed the issue that was bricking GPUs first.

I agree with you especially Ashes of Creation!

There was a fix for that. EVGA is replacing all the cards that got bricked.

Looks like its happening on others too.

Not even a little bit.

I gave it a try during the testing phase, and it’s a no from me dawg.

they only have humans as a playable race

It doesn’t look interesting to me but I am trying FF14 and I actually like it so far, and I’m curious about trying ESO one day maybe.

Bricks your graphics card.

Full Amazon pay-to-win model.

Perma-bans you for milking a cow on the Sabbath.

No thanks

Same could be said of almost every new game, most don’t really sustain the hype, even out of the beta.

edit - thought you were talking of NW, FF probably will last. Far more casual friendly than WoW and better for social players.

Maybe but once you actually open your eyes you will feel differently

Thats kind of vague. Anything specific?

In beta myself. It’s ok. Nothing special. It feel just like every other mmo released in the last decade honestly. There aren’t many slows in the game so if a fight goes south you just run away. Everyone has OP guns and stuff. The content gets boring quick from a quest perspective. It won’t last

Thanks for the input 8)
