Whatever happened to these? They were announced to be released in an upcoming patch back at Blizzcon and I thought this 8.2 woudl be it, but I’ve heard nothing about it since Blizzcon.

They were pushed back to 8.2.5. They have been pushed back continuously since WoD. So I’m not holding my breath that they’ll actually be released in 8.2.5 either.

I am also hoping for re-voice over work.
The 3 packs a day of unfiltered cigarettes voice…needs to go imo. Or, not likely, a voice option. 3 packs a day option or something more normal. I see they are going for deep voice. There are ways to do that not going for the unfiltered “lucky strike” voice lol.
When I am on my worgen off and on I stay human out of combat basically.

They weren’t pushed back. They were announced at Blizzcon as being for 8.2.5. They have not been pushed back since it was confirmed that they were doing them. Go watch the WoW 2018 blizzcon if you don’t believe me.

Every time it has been asked about since the other races were up dated in WoD it’s been, "We’re working on it, " and, “Maybe next patch/xpac”. Even at Blizzcon 2018, there was no definitive patch given. They just showed the work in progress images. The 8.2/8.2.5 has come out since, but not in blue text, so forgive me for being skeptical of the actual release patch.

I know it wont happen because its a Genn thing, but all white option would be sick. Or just a tad bit of a tweak on the male posture.

You mean the section that was called “8.2.5 and Beyond”? Which could mean it will come out in 8.2.5 OR later.
Perhaps it is you who needs to do more research, because “future patch” may or may not mean 8.2.5. Which is what I’ve been saying, no DEFINITIVE patch is stated for release, just more “maybes”.
Don’t get me wrong, I will be glad if 8.2.5 is correct. I just won’t be surprised if they don’t come out until later either. I’m from Missouri. They are going to have to “Show Me” before I believe, and NO the Blizzcon panel you are clinging to said future, not a definitive patch number for release.

I will admit that the wording was a little more ambiguous than I remembered but the slide says 8.2.5 Update and then they immediately show the worgen/goblin models before moving on.
Having done that, they were announcing them for 8.2.5 while leaving a little wiggle room because that’s how you do PR.
But it is a safe bet that they’ll be in 8.2.5.
I am still hopeful that they will also give them new animations, the Worgen male animations are so bad…
