Honorable world PVP is not, but it can be very fun; there are times when you’re in the dirt and times when you are putting them in the dirt.

If they won’t even give us an RP-PVP server, they sure as heck aren’t going to give us a Weenie Hut Jr PvP server.
The biggest mistake I ever made in SoD was roll onto Lone Wolf. I will not make that mistake again. PVE all the way.
Probably not, but that has nothing to do with peoples’ interest in discussing the topic. So those discussions will happen here, and it’s fine.
With all the ‘alliance for pve, horde for pvp’ mentality that’s been around since 2019 I just hope the people who roll alliance actually want to pvp and aren’t just there because they feel like they have to be.

This is a good example of the type of player others will face on PVP realms. Whatever anyone thinks of such players, I applaud you Deathsbounty, as you are exemplary, and I shall happily roll on a PVP server, even knowing that full raids of level 60s in HWL gear may camp me while I’m questing through STV alone, even if I really, really want to mine that node that they are preventing me from getting to.
They removed PVP servers. Presumably due to people who complain about PVP, yet refuse to roll on Normal servers.
While there are some things I can point to that I do not like, I like this step towards PVP servers remaining as PVP servers.

Essentially never happens. I would estimate close to 1% or less of PvP is “honorable”
people run by each other all the time, until they have numbers… then its OMG KILL THEM.
ppl only fight when they know t hey are gonna win. Why PvP servers are garbage.
Darkmoon Faire, its a monthly event that swaps between Stormwind and Thunder Bluff, the event provides a 10% damage increase world buff… but can ( and is) camped by often dozens of ppl, making getting the buff nearly impossible during the day time.

The amount of times it would have been perfectly fine 1v1 pvp until someone on my side or their side decides to hop in and influence the decision bothers me to wits end.
Nobody respects the 1v1 anymore.

They removed PvP servers because they were all 99% 1 faction. Now it is phased and you can select Warmode and you will have WPvP opponents to your heart’s content. They will all be tanks that are mathematically unkillable because PvP in the game has been broken for 10+ years.
The only change that came to classic is the forced faction population which is the only thing that gives PvP servers a chance of surviving as we saw in 2019 and SoM.
Eh this was fun in 2019. On a rushed 1 year server that is immediately rushing us to TBC… i just wanna chill and do my thing.
