It’s starting to make me legitimately upset, which seems ridiculous to me. I feel like I shouldn’t be getting upset over a video game.

They can do so much better with Necrolord legendary. 15% isn’t crap compared to Fae’s 50% haste and crit.
Shard of Annihilation looks like trash. Cinders is always going to be best for Destro.

I don’t get the point of these legos. They aren’t better than what we have. They are maybe situational good for some specs, which means I won’t use them for at least 2 months (upgrade current bis, then upgrade these). If we could use 1 general, 1 covenant lego it would make sense, but this is just odd.

shard of annihilation is now 100% crit and 50% damage on ptr. Nightfae is now 5% haste/crit. Kyrian is now 40% crit. Venthyr is now 75% damage+15% per target. Necrolord may be on the menu. Nightfae is as predicted. Rip kyrian. Lol venthyr.

All of this. It is insane how upset and “punished” Blizzard makes me feel for choosing Venthyr. Terrible game design and the unwillingness to amend it is infuriating!

These covenant legendaries don’t seem all that great at all…at least not for warlocks. Like the one for venthyr seems bland
Makes you wonder who is in charge for designing them. Cause they sure don’t design themselves.
Unless there’s an upcoming buff to impending catastrophe all this does is save me some resources. It’s bad enough I only use my covenant ability on mid to large trash pulls, but to give this as a laughable legendary for the covenant is just wrong.
Correction the one for venthyr should be the damage venthyr should be doing not a damn leggo. The devs should just out with it already they really don’t want that ability around.
This long in the expansion and that ability is still pretty much worthless in anything including the venthyr conduits trees next to others.
Most of those covenant leggos aside from the one that seems like a typo, are pretty much dead.

the typo one got fixed
Just did a bit of fiddling around with the Necrolord legendary on the PTR. It’s hard to get a read on this one, I can’t tell if it’s actually not working or if it’s just very underwhelming and worded poorly.
For starters, it most certainly isn’t giving 100% crit on those 3 buffed Incinerates. If anything it might be doubling your personal crit chance for them, but since I’ve got like 13% and don’t have any addons in PTR it’s hard to get a “feel” for it being better.
Additionally the crit damage modifier is sketchy. Swapping to Affliciton to avoid the randomness of Destruction’s mastery I found that my Drain Soul crits while buffed by Decimating Bolt went from 1670 to 2110. It doesn’t take a math expert to tell that’s not a full 50% bigger. I assume it means it’s actually taking crit from 200% damage to 250%.
We’ll see how the sims and numbers end up when all is said and done but I can’t see myself taking this legendary in it’s current version over Cinders of Azj’Aqir.

TL;DR: NF is the best, Aff might hit 100% haste/mastery, maybe crit (on 4 targets) with this and higher ilvl gear/trinkets. Destro might play necro sometimes. Demo still stroking tyrants.
