Man I love the games story being not told in the game
I gotta watch a 50 minute video about how Renzik joined SI:7?
I’m just gonna wait until some YouTuber summarizes what’s in the book.
I never buy these lol.
I agree. Main storyline shouldn’t be in novels, stories, etc. outside of the game. Side storylines for character development that’s not important to the main story? Sure. But actual main plot? That stuff needs to be in game.
Had to find out what happen to Cairne in a damn book…
Still haven’t gotten over that.
Putting critical, need-to-know story information offline really does have to stop.
Alliance + Thrall.
as usual.
If it doesn’t happen in game, not interested. Already give them $15 a month
It amuses me that a book covering stories that take place between 11.0’s ending and 11.1 starting is being released in November when we very likely be in 11.2.
Make it make sense.
I’ll still pick it up because I enjoy the books but this stuff should have been in the 11.0.5 and 11.0.7 patches
They also added an audio drama about the shiv. It was pretty nice.
People don’t read the lore of stories in the game right now already.
I like the books.
I don’t like all the authors, so I’ll skip their titles, but the rest, especially older stuff, has been a delight to read.
This is why I wish we’d had an animated series, that could have potentially put all these books onto the screen.
These are side stories.
I mean some people don’t believe in wiping themselves either, doesn’t mean we get rid of toilet paper
Also true but these are side stories than main quest stories. So it isn’t that huge of a deal.
Especially since people already dislike Jaina, goblins or Faerin, if it was it the game, people still wouldn’t play them if they weren’t interested.
I admit, the irony that the one goblin that has always been Alliance align getting a great deal of lore for the patch dedicated to goblins just tickles me.
I assume its a combination of Blizzard not wanting to spoil patch information(if Renzik short was announced then its likely everyone would have figured out Undermine was the next patch) and the logistics of getting the books created/publish causing delays.
