I dislike the base Druid base Talents. Balance and resto are brain dead and easy to choose from with very little wasted points Feral side of it way more thinking and basically have to waste points on spells to get abilities. What balance druid would go over into the opposite side of the tree for anything over there where Feral will have to go into balance for some utility. I just see balance filling everything on its side of the tree then wasting points over where Feral side just flat out cant do that.
Also interrupt being a talent my god Literally an force talent thereâs not aspect of the game where an interrupt isnât wanted. So way to force wasted points.
Extra range in balance side of tree even though its useful to all feral how about we move that to feral side so balance has to take abilities it will never touch.
I really hope this is being significantly tweaked. Yes you donât have to get that talent but the fact that its so easy for one side to get all it wants with no waste while the others side is loosing what are currently baseline abilities and not gaining anything but all the abilities it already has again.
The feral tree is horrible and only continues the same issues meows already have, yet blizz for some reason, refuses to put time into the soec and fix them.
This tree needs completely redone for it to be a positive.
The whole point of the new talent trees is because:
a) it felt bad losing our borrowed power each xpac
and
b) we stopped gaining a powerful new ability each xpac
So it seems odd that the solution to this is to provide players with a comparatively worse feeling of losing core abilities only to have to invest talent points to get them back, and have trees that mostly consist of old abilities.
They think people will see the âshiny new talent treesâ and hop on the fanboi wagon, then pay for DF. If they can get people this far, they made money. After that its all profits. So once people realize its old garbo just on trees, most wont last long.
That just follows the long, and yes i mean LONGGG time proven saying of âits just mockups⌠its just alpha⌠its just betaâŚetc.â
Blizz spent money on the trees, which means they will use them in one way or another. Blizz doesnt scrap anything, even if its copy/paste from the last 10 yrs.
living seed would be great for the nostalgia, tied to one of the lifebloom or regrowth passives we have. It helps smooth out unexpected burst damage.
The overhealing absorb provided by dream weaver is also really great added to our kit because of how much overhealing our hots naturally do especially if there are other healers present.
Taunting Forces of nature being moved to the neutral class tree and given optional specialization improvments to level the dps spec utility and just add to our nature themed class flavor.
The new talented convoke has spells seperated by specs and shapeshift. This could just be a tooltip error for the talent calculator websites but if its true is severely limits the off role niche this spell has now.
Making it only a defensive for bear, a middle healing cooldown for resto, and a dps button for feral or balance instead of a button that can do whatever we need at the time. With the emphasis on hybridization in the displayed tree that seems to go against it pretty hard.
They dont, anything they removes goes into non-used categorical holding blocks. So when blizz needs to implement something ânew,â they go to those blocks, pull out a spell, change its visual, and call it new. Ppl like you praise the heavens and use it as proof that blizz still makes new stuff until someone links the old spell. Then you rage quit and go tell all your white knighter friends how so mean man hurt you.
Youâre talking about things you know nothing about. Youâve angered yourself in your own confusion.
Take a minute. Re-evaluate. Compose yourself.
We donât tell lies here. Mmmk?
Blizzard is notorious for scrapping entire zones (hyjal), dungeons, specs, and re building them from the ground up. Youâre now trying to backpedal and say its all just copy/paste.
Christ⌠theyâve even scraped an entire game. Multiple games. StarCraft: Ghost ring a bell?
I know itâs fun for you to pretend like youâve got it all figured out. Unfortunately your comments couldnât be any further from the truth.
Insect Swarm
Functions like adaptive swarm but with insect swarm animation and nature damage.
Remove:
Convoke Spirits (Shamans convoke with spirits, not Druids)
Add:
Living Seed
10% of your overhealing received or done remains as a shield on the target up to 10% of the casterâs health, lasting for 5 sec.
(Basically a reinvented version of Empowered Chrystilis repackaged as a new version of Living Seed)
Add:
Force of Nature
Resto version with treants casting healing touch.
Add these buffs to Tree of Life:
Nourish:
When under the effects of incarnation tree of life Nourish will refresh the duration of Lifebloom.
Swiftmend:
When under the effects of incarnation tree of life Swiftmend gains two charges.
Its perfect.
Insect Swarm is back with the usefulness of Adaptive Swarm.
Living Seed is back but with the overhealing recycling from empowered chrysilis.
Force of Nature is back for resto and subsequently healing touch since the treants cast it.
Prosperity is back for Swiftmend but baked into tree of life.
Nourish refreshing Lifebloom is back but baked into Tree of life.
I hope that Blizzard listens to your comments (which I have loved so far) since you are addressing spells and passives that were removed but obviously implemented and still cannot put all of them, I hope that at least among those you mention they put the Insect Swarm and Living Seed
Who knows, we could remove or replace any of the Covenant (Necro or NF) with Kyrianâs in the form of something related to the Druidic (or brings a symbiosis back with a function similar to the Kindred Spirit at least in the Stats part)
Consider making heart of the wild a 3/4 minute cooldown baseline as weâre losing born of the wilds even if it means shortening the buff time. The 5-minute cooldown is so desynced from ever other cooldown druid has.
3 minute would bring it line with every other dps cooldown (most popular use) or 4 minutes, so it lines up every other 2-min convoke buffing the hybrid usage. Also if the spec specific convokes are a thing consider having heart open up the other options similar to how it allows boomkins to innervate themselves on live.
