If you’d have actually played at any off-peak time you’d realize you constantly see the same people.
You likely would have recognized the very obvious pattern of someone instantly leaving a queue when it pops and being sent to wait another extended waiting period, meaning it was a healer that left likely because someone didn’t get the queue at the same time as them.
Again, it’s an obvious weak point, it’s being exploited because of course it is. You continuing to deny it is either a result of burying your head in the sand or because you’re somehow profiting from it.
Try using your your eyes and brain, I’m not entirely convinced they’re reliable either but at least you can eliminate my beautiful imagination from your calculation.
My brain tells me that you’re talking out of your rear. You can’t consistently match a given healer with a particular DPS in a solo shuffle queue because of how wide the participation gap is, and how traditional wintrading works.
Even if you overcame the 60 minute queue issue, your donating healer is going to be out of range of that DPS after one thrown match.
If you’re talking about 4am on a Tuesday wintrading at 3000 mmr, then that is a problem for Blizzard’s traditional software screening to handle, and isn’t even worth mentioning.
You limit the maps to ones that can work with less than 10 people. Too busy to search the names and list them all right now, but obviously AB, EOTS, and a few others would not be part of the list.
And the point of 1 healer in this setting is to not have everyone backed up with a healer. It would require more strategy then simply splitting into 2 groups of 3 with each group having its own healer. That would honestly be lame.
I kept saying that solo shuffle isn’t a shuffle for healers so they should get preferential treatment in the case of leaving but everyone was like “but win trading between healers might happen” and it’s like… there’s a few dozen healers in the queue guys LIKE IN ALL OF NORTH AMERICA. THERES LITERALLY DOZENS OF THEM. If we have to make them happy to be able to play our video game, then let’s make them happy.
Maybe it’s just you lacking in imagination that prevents you from thinking outside your very specific parameters for this scenario or again maybe it’s purposeful.
Try if you might though, imagine there are 2 people neither of them are DPS, neither of them have 60 minute queue times, one of them has several characters across several rating brackets…imagine if you dare.
When you speak in riddles and innuendo, it leaves others to fill in the blanks.
What are you concerned about? Use your words, son.
Remember, this is what started the walk into the weeds, and it was a response to me stating the fact that in a 3v3 scenario where there’s a saboteur in the group, the math dictates that more often than not, it’ll be on the other team if it isn’t you:
… so what? It doesn’t matter the motivation for shenanigans. The math still dictates that in situations where early leavers lead to no-fault rating loss, the perpetrator is more likely to be on the other team, and we all win long-term.
I’m sorry. I’m quite old and normally very good about letting forum ridiculousness go, but I’m feeling spicy today and you’re just so passive-aggressively incorrect. Help me understand what has you so rattled.
