Yea now a new beast has emerged to deal with. Could just be a bad Dps too. They lose both rounds leave. Nothing you can do but eat a negative rating.

Exactly what happened to me. First healer 0-3 than go 2-0 and before i can win the last to break even he leaves and i lost 17 pts.

I went 1-0 and a dps left the poor druid healer that went 0-1 lost 21 points.

I haven’t done it since earlier this afternoon must of been a rather recent thing then.

Yea it definitely hits you, Still hurts bad in a new way. Idk if this is it.

I mean you could get lucky win 3 games someone leaves. However on the other end of that is rough.

In a way you could target griefing someone even more. See someone with 3 losses you don’t like leave make sure they lose rating. :weary: :man_shrugging:

Think it’s time for Phase 2 Wrath to come out and play that.

Yeah i just started playing 8 pm et. Not sure if they meant for it to go live. But this may not be the solution either.

Problem is i couldnt tell who afked bc nobody lost 150 pts…

Now its going to get toxic. When you train someone and kill them, they will afk while on your team and then leave to ensure you get -points. Instead of fixing the balance issues that are causing people to ragequit, tblizzard basically tried to heal an amputation with a dirty bandaid.

It was one of the potential “fixes”. There’s also forcing the leaver to stay and have the rounds play out, but then everybody just goes 4-2, 3-3, etc. I don’t know.

yeah if the new fix doesn’t totally erase the leaver phenomenon this was an obviously terrible idea i feel like

what was supposed to be better about this than instantly cashing out all 6 rounds as losses for Team Leaver-in-Absentia? did i miss the explanation?

i think you take -150 and (hopefully) gut your mmr if you do this

Well, winning then having your gains all stolen felt bad. Potentially worse than getting in, having somebody leave and losing -15 points unavoidably.

Ehhh. Leaver penalties are becoming more notable, so maybe it’ll be fine.

Yeah to be fair I suppose this is technically what people wanted. Honestly I overlooked how it would play out. If you are 3 rounds in and you’ve lost each round and someone leaves, then yeah you are still entitled to those 3 losses. Still doesn’t feel right but it is what it is.
