Looks pretty neat! Wonder will it apply to those Fungal Beastriders with that spear toss skill in Fungal Folly.
Assuming they don’t clip through the ground anymore that’s a great change
Looks nifty. I’m sure no one will ever stand in the fire again!
I’m not falling for that trick. You just want to keep the haste buff for yourself.
Very good and necessary change.
I fully expect some LFR hero to post about how it ruins aesthetic and immersion though.
Great! Can we now stop using the same freakin’ large red circle with a swirlie in it for both soaks and gtho?
Challenge accepted.
I envisioned a different kind of swirlie.
But do they still swirl in the other direction for Australians?
Is this real?
Most of the reason I didn’t bother with PvE was due to poor visual clarity.
This might open up a whole new pillar of endgame for me.
Does anyone know if it will be retroactive?
Yes, it’s on the PTR right now!
I changed my settings to allow for better contrast etc.
Have a look at the tips from this guy, it’s made a massive difference for me
I just wanna be able to see those stupid swirlies where you’re supposed to kill the mushrooms with the crystals and not have to try to see green-on-green-with-grass-atop.
All screenshots showcasing the feature are on flat ground.
Pretty safe to say no, they haven’t fixed the bigger problem.
This is a direct ripoff from FFXIV that no one should be complaining about. I’m not one to applaud people for doing something that should have been done years ago, but a W is a W, and they’re rare for Blizzard as of late.
Now, if only they would standardize the attack types like XIV did.
Red circle with red arrows down is always a tank buster, yellow arrows pointing down means to stack up, purple circles mean spread, etc.
Yeah, those look nice. I’m interested to see how they work in actual dungeons.
This is amazing.
However, it’d be nice if blizzard knew how to design an encounter that doesn’t just rely on 17 different types of swirlies and the occasional laser beam.
This is a good change, I guess…
But the reality is that the only reason this change is needed is because the game now revolves around one-shot mechanics. Fixing the game to be less centered around one-shot mechanics would have been a better solution than changing the swirl animation.
