I don’t hate this. Nightblades in ESO are rogues that use shadow magic to be tanks. Kind of like a vampiric melee type tank. Shadows and leech.
Also about time rogues got to be able to wear shields. I love shields. Bucklers especially.
I’m not opposed to rogue tanks. I think the biggest hurdle is that thematically you would probably want it to be a high avoidance tank, and history has shown that that is a scenario that Blizzard doesn’t like and often gets wrong. Like for instance in MoP when Guardian’s active mitigation button was like 40% dodge or whatever. Bears pretty quickly fell out of favor because as damage went up, healing them was weird because they would go from taking no damage to splat dead suddenly.
how about this why not make all the specs win for a change.
