Vulpera are the best allied race horde got. We’re the only allied race on horde and alliance that should even be considered an allied race
But what about mechagno-pffft-HAHAHAHAHAHAH! I tried but I couldn’t do it.
I wished we looked a little like the npcs (our faces are odd and we’re rather short), but if they want to keep the wide eyed models I would be fine with a little more customisation. Gimme things like mana hair, hair with physics, more choice in tattoos (including an option to make them brighter), more skin tones, etc.
About the hair though… it drives me nuts that I basically use the same hair as npcs but it neither moves like theirs, nor has any of that neat little mana effect.
Your point would be taken better, if you didn’t exaggerate. Nightborne racials aren’t all non combat.
They get a slow plus dmg ability, 1% increase on magic overall, and 1% decrease dmg from Arcane. Not the greatest of the bunch, but also not all non combat.
Tbh I was pretty disappointed that the Nightborne heritage set dress wasn’t split into chestpiece and separate skirt… or heck even offering a non skirt option like many other heritage sets…
Agreed. I kinda wish they had done similar to what they did with my Blood Elf’s heritage armour and give us a choice of a robe, or pants and a shirt. Even if the pants were still just the skirt, I would have loved to be able to use things separately.
It’s damage is worthless, the slow is only okay.
“Not the greatest of the bunch” is an understatement.
I love Mechagnomes and i love Kultirans.
And i love the amount of work that made me a unique rig and an adjustment of a pre-existing one.
But ofc if it does not appease the elves and humans crowd it does not get to be considered a good race.
You know what is even weirder?
The nightborne guard NPCs. One of them have the sicked back female hairstyle and surprisingly it has actual physics for the npc, but the same style is stiff on player characters, and heck isn’t even about clipping, because there are even longer hairstyles with physics as well for other races.
TBH all of the Legion’s Allied Races need a quality pass.
- Hairstyles with an abysmal polygon count.
- Extremely limited hair and skin color palettes. Not exactly asking for fair skinned VE’s but half of their tones are almost identical that you can’t even tell the difference in the ingame lightning. And heck Nightborne with just THREE shades?
They better add some Nightborne customization options.
Again, you made the statement:
That’s not true. Doesn’t matter what the damage is or how you feel about a slow. All I’m saying is you could point out they’re not good and explain why, instead of saying 3 of their racials, which are combat racials, one of which is utility and dmg, don’t exist, and people like myself would agree rather than argue.
Yup, that’s what I’ve been saying. I use that hairstyle and it drives me nuts to see it on NPCs and see it moving around, whereas on me it looks like someone superglued it to my back.
Ty i’m aware you can stop now.
Makes no absolute sense. I want to think that is some kind of overlook that they aren’t either aware of, or consider it too minor to allocate someone to fix.
Yes, and then we were able to earn Katy Stampwhistle.
Yeah, I agree. At least we’re not humans.
at least my model isn’t scuffed.
Specially since they had done it before and it served nothing for the night elves but instead it was a set up for sad orc story.
To be fair, sad orc story was really sad.
No they didn’t, Horde ARs all have differences from the one they’re copying (Night Elves in this case). Most of the Alliance ARs are just recolors of an existing race, the two exceptions are Kul Tirans that are quite unpopular and diapergnomes that are hated almost unanimously.
