Hey, everyone,
I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for 20 years, and in fact all this time I rarely played shamans, well, it’s not my thing, but when I saw this, even I was unpleasant, no comments, the current models look divine compared to this squalor, I hope Blizzard at least once they will listen to the community and eliminate this shame, such things need to be agreed upon with the players somehow.
It’s Colorful Ghost Clown Form in my opinion not Ascendance Form.
Who do you think your customers (WoW players) are? You just once again slightly changed an already existing model (banshees, ghosts from the Battle for Azeroth), you were even too lazy to change or remove hair, there is so much hackwork lately, I’m very upset about it, and I’m not so stupid as not to notice such things, as you apparently think.
OMG, these new forms are horrible. they look like they stuck their fingers in a light socket and got fried.
Bliz for God’s sake please either offer a choice of old vs new forms, or create a series of different looking ones that don’t look like those you seem bent on producing. These are some of the worse appearances I’ve seen for some time and will not want to use that spell if that is what my shaman will look like.
Give us a choice, don’t just foist this mess on us without another choice that is less of a nightmare.
Guys! I played an awesome dungeon today I never played before. What do I see in there? Hot looking Ascendance form for Shaman. If they are adding this stuff in, they might as well just take throw that one in there as well.
I would totally rock the Ascendance model from Grim Batol. This is an updated model right Ascendant Flameseeker?
It’s a matter of taste, for those who like creepy designs, you’re going to like it a lot, for those who like something more normal that comes out lately, wow, you’re not going to like it.
So if the majority of people posting on the forums, reddit, and YouTube don’t like it, by what metric are you using to determine that the majority somehow do like these models?
You will also notice when people post that they don’t like it, they say why. Usually when people post that they like them, they don’t say why. Not very convincing.
I agree. The model is awful and I sure hope we’re not forced to use it. Hopefully, they will change it; however, since they haven’t updated the thread about the 20th anniversary it appears we will have to deal with it.
The silent majority is a very real thing.
People are much more likely to go out of their way to make a negative review of something than a positive one.
It’s about expectations. If you go somewhere or receive a product and it functions as intended. You aren’t going to take time out of your day to let everyone know about it.
Think of Homer Simpson inventing the everything is fine alarm.
What I hope, at the very least, is that the ascendance forms are added to barbershop options. Then internally, they have an easy metric of popularity based on who activated them and who didn’t.
Personally, not huge on them. And like, I like more ‘gross’ appearances on things! But these are…out of place. For shaman at least.
Although, pull the hair back, almost get a Rammatra from OW thing going on… could work with it.
Okay, but that doesn’t provide any sort of evidence that the majority like these forms. They are receiving high quantity of negative reception on all media platforms. Discount that all you want, but that’s the best we have to go on.
Also, if the majority of players actually like something, they will usually chime in on any given topic thread with an opposing opinion. Like if you made a thread saying you think Marks hunters are bad in battlegrounds, people will come in and say, no actually they are quite good.
We’re not seeing that with these forms. Some people like them, most don’t.
I associate our current ascendancy forms with the Twilight Cultists. To me it’s more of a perversion of the elements. I think the new one looks more spiritual as I can relate it with the Loa and Bwonsamdi. Which is why everyone thinks it looks creepy. Seeing as the Loa are more active within the factions (Darkspear), this is a sensible transition.
My household buys daily/weekly and we leave zero reviews. Our experiences are different, and I err that my experiences are more likely. Source: Just look at reviews to volume and you’ll see how skewed it is. (This isn’t even factoring if the reviews are positive to correlate this to another point made)
See above with how you blatantly disregard the sheer volume of people who don’t engage in any feedback/conversations. All so you can try to prove a point with the limited data you have to argue your case.
