New Services Advertisement Policy

I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. I feel certain that if it were investigated, there would be no action taken and I would welcome it.

Were you unable to post in chat or was it temp disabled?

Not that I noticed, but this time of morning isn’t a good time to judge that. There have only been about 15 posts in the past 30 minutes.

So how did you know you got reported? If no action was taken obvioulsy nothing was wrong?

In reguards to linking things in game give this a read reguarding twitch/streams

Also i remember reading a blue response in reguards to trade chat and whats considered ‘spamming’ - ill do a quick search to find that also.

Found it.

This is what will happen when you get reported.

Someone took the time to whisper me and tell me that they reported me.

No in-game warning or letter.

Thank them next time

Then it meant nothing and you wernt doing anything wrong it would appear.

I just got a calendar invite from Raidline which is advertising gold, carries, etc. How do we report these?

I got this too. After looking them up on the interwebs, it looks like they’re a carry service. After that I declined all their invites. Seems we can’t right-click the player for spamming us as it seems they’ve found an in-game loophole.

Actually I figured out a way to report them - I just can’t remember how already. You can report from that invite in a way.

Yes, if I right-click the calendar event, I can report, but the only two options are: Inappropriate name or Inappropriate Communication - they need to add Inappropriate SPAM.

Same spam calendar invite happened to me on an alt. Most disappointing. Thank you for posting at least one way to report? Do better Blizzard.

Hey all,

I received an in-game warning about my communication today, and the only thing I know for certain is that I’ve also been using the services channel /5 to advertise M+ sales for gold as a guild group. My understanding is that this is within the newest policy guidelines, so I was wondering if this was common when using the services channel, or if I should just not risk it and stop advertising altogether?

At least we’ve good some good rules!

Re socializing in the trade channel. Socializing has always been a part of selling anything on or off - line. <3 There is a reason those used car salespeople always ask you about your family and job. <3

I would choose the inappropriate communication since it is an illegal communication.

You must be fun at parties.

A party you weren’t even invited to apparently

if in doubt, type /leave trade /leave services etc. Works on any non-grouped chat channel.
