I don’t get why they don’t just use their superior “layering” , let people play the game and offer xfers off servers. Basically say until we get pops better we can’t turn it off. I guess it is 2004 though so queues!

They will never release actual numbers dude. That kind of data is going to remain strictly internal. Besides how exactly is knowing an exact number going to help you?
For people on servers that were named in that warning, yes. However, the low-medium realms that we were told to move to currently have 300 minute+ queues.
The streamers do get hit or at least did get hit. At one point last night, the World of Warcraft Twitch page looked like a checkerboard with many streamers stuck on the loading page after getting mass disconnected on Faerlina.
Doesn’t matter, I’m over three hours in q for a “medium” server now, at least that was what it said when I entered the q. Weren’t any “low” so “medium” seemed the best choice.
I have about run out of time and will likely not be playing tonight.

See this is what I don’t understand. There are some seriously massive options for realms, and DB setups to match. The whole thing just feels very “garage shop” to me, but the sub still feels premium.

Because the idea is to remove layering altogether by phase 2. Use your brain.

Deviate is medium now. Grobb was medium before release and was fine. Not sure why medium isn’t fine now.
All but 3 of them had full labels when I checked just now. Can we just get some more realms? Like 20 more
You cant just increase the player cap on a server, original vanilla only held 3k ish per server. having a 15-25K pop server would feel ridiculously cramped and destroy the economy. The solution imo is more servers and free transfers.
What are these realms with zero wait time you’re even referring to. Take 1 minute, open up the realm selection screen right now. You will see only 3 realms that aren’t listed as full - Benediction (EST Medium PvP), Deviate Delight (EST Medium RP-PvP), and Smolderweb (PST High PvP). I even took a screenshot of it.

It was Deviate Delight.
Blizzard should allow everybody playing classic to do one transfer to a LOWER population realm for free. this should help a bit.
