New Ranged Class? Tinkers!

And neither do I.
I want it strictly stuck in the Warcraft style.
Shredder suits, guns, bombs, and explosives.
Nothing too crazy. Just the things we’ve seen more often than not.

For an example. Go play Iron Docks or Grimrail Depot in draenor.
Nessa Nox sits at a distance and deploys bombs, and the first boss of grim rail uses localized missile barrages.
Neither of which are universe bending examples. I’d go so far as to say they’re perfectly reasonable.

In my defense. If it was part of the Tank spec, or a cooldown. You’d rarely see it

I think if a new class has to take skills from another class, instead of enriching a current class, that’s where I see issues.

good point

You understand you already had your skills taken from you twice now.

Haha don’t remind me

Ok just making sure sense that is your definition of too many classes. That literally means the very first new class added was too many.

Why are you people saying Tinkers? sounds like garbage to me.

Tinkers wouldn’t realistically steal abilities from existing classes. Because none of the existing classes really use technology.

In fact. That’s why I specify they use different gear too. Guns with Intellect as opposed to agility.
That way they don’t even steal from hunters

Sounds cooler than dry ice to me.

Honestly I feel like if they was to add Tinkerer BFA would of been the time. It was a engineering boom. Might take awhile to have an expansion that makes sense again.

While I agree with your point, I’d counter by saying that I don’t think adding a new class was the issue, just improper planning.

Many people operate under the assumption that 10.0 will be a grandiose “return to Azeroth”

Seems like a good time to add a throwback class.
Cant say for sure. That’s alllll based on hypotheticals

I agree 100%!

This was the perfect time for it.

Bad idea: check
Limited acceptance (aka mechagnome): check
Blizzard being Blizzard: check

Dont worry OP, youve got a good chance of seeing this idea implemented!

Yeah I’m sad to admit it’s very true. Thankfully that also means Necromancer will be a thing at some point as well. Blizzard will always add the demanded classes eventually. It makes them money.

Glad you agree. I’d reroll in a heartbeat.

Besides. I’d play a good race.

Sorry Clockworth. But Mechagnomes aren’t for me.

I’m strictly on the Goblin side of Goblins vs Gnomes

I can assure you that I’d be making a Goblin Tinker in a heartbeat!

After Gnome! I just want a fat Goblin option … haha

Imagine the feeling you would have if Activision finally got its way with the blizzard cash shop…

And toward the end of the expansion you see…

For only a 6 month subscription or $40 you can unlock the Tinkerer Class.

And as I typed that… a Activision CEO is reading this thread and…

“Ya got Goblins on ya side! What could go wrong?!”

Yuck… I hope not.

That doesn’t seem like a fair deal though, and I doubt blizzard will do it.
New content is usually relegated to new expansions. And classes are certainly new content, imho
They serve as new way to experience all existing content in a new way.

Dont take my sarcasm as agreement that its a good idea, it just kinda seems inevitable that it will happen considering how bad it is lol
