Mechasuits, lasers, missiles, bombs, bandage cannons, healing syringe injectors, boxing glove mecha-arms, jetpacks, and cool goggles/hats.

I actually agree and don’t think that would need to be the sole identity of a TInker class. I’d prefer something more like the GW2 engineer and would certainly want it to be open to more than just gnomes/goblins
It’s already too late for that. Tech is in this game pretty hardcore.

But it does matter because to some it would ruin their gaming experience. It’s something Blizzard absolutely should consider.

I’m always confused whenever some tries to say that WoW is a ‘fantasy’ setting; it hasn’t been one even back in the original Warcraft days. It’s Sci-Fantasy, a blending of both genres, like the Eberron setting for D&D.

then i propose this- we get rid of any race under 3’ tall! problem solved!
They have pre existing assets in game.
They have several different models for mechs and turrets
They have new class representatives on exiles reach.
They have pre existing spec design in game, as of BFA.
And it’s not like they need extraneous justification in the lore.
That’s why they’re likely

It’s the level of Sci-fantasy.
How people are unable to understand that having what would it be 10% at the very least of the playerbase running around in mech suites would change the atmosphere from mostly fantasy to nearly dominate science fiction is beyond me. You are talking about hundreds of thousands of people running around in those things now.

It doesn’t, inherently.
It is evidence that proves they are likely to be the next class.
It is not evidence that they are on their way.
That’s why I say “they’re likely to be next” and not “tinkers are confirmed”

We’ll have to disagree, my friend!
I already see tanks, planes, airships, submarines, teleporters, spaceships, warframes, laser rifles, EMP devices, satellite and radar, stealth generators, plasma shields, turrets, mechanical bombs, and a whole host of other sci-fi elements.
Seeing a Tinker questing next to me in Elwynn Forest wouldn’t break my immersion in the slightest. However, too each their own I understand!

If you want to make their eye twitch just start argueing for Necromancer. This person keeps making the same thread again and again and when that topic comes up they go into seizures if it stays long enough.
