Yeah, still missing the Drake Achievement because I cant roll correctly past the spine. LOL
If it helps what I usually do is spam strafe back and forth while slowly ticking down the blood with an amalgam up. Then I pop the amalgam once full and burst the plate. Never really failed on it with both melee & ranged dps.
I believe it was Quintessence who explained the dance on Deathwing to me. It took some practice, but it wasn’t undoable.
That’s useful advice. And I’ll just point out (for those that tend to stress, like I do), you have all the time you need. Once you kill the first three tendrils, you can rest on the spot where one of the tendrils was. (Preferably one closest to the plate you’re going to blast off. The bloods cannot hurt you at your level, and Deathwing cannot roll you off. So, once you’re in that spot, wind down, and think about your next move.
Kill the bloods, kill the last tendril to pop the Amalgam, then just run back and forth as the announcements for which way Deathwing is going to roll come up, kiting the Amalgam through the bloods, then rest in your safe spot, kill the Amalgam and then spam your targeter until you find Burning Tendon, kill it. Then move up, kill at least one of the tendrils, and rest in that spot.
Lather, rinse, repeat. Again, once you’re in the safe spot, you have all the time you need to prepare for the next round.
Thanks for the advice. I havent done it in a while. One of my biggest problems was that everyone was one shot. Including the Amalgams. Moonfire/Sunfire will kill them instantly. Thats seems to be part of my problem. LOL
That’s why you flood the area with dead bloods first, then blast the last tendril, which will spawn a new Amalgam. Hopefully, you have killed enough to bring the amalgam to nine. If not, then target carefully.
Bought most of my RWL: Pandaria pets…
I have been playing around with Kor’thik, the Prideling and Comet so far.
I haven’t done much with them, but I do like the Kor’thik Swarmling. He’s got a terrific Power stat, plus, he’s a flying pet with a speed bonus. Be nice to face that obnoxious team that opens with a forced switch from the Imp.
