I’m hoping Blizz expands the race/class combinations. After many years of being allies there’s a good chance ways of life would be shared.

Exactly this, so much this. Our cultures within the alliance and the horde have mingled so much. How could there not be new race class combinations?!

It’d be great to see Blizzard respond to this at all by the time SL goes into beta next week. Same for more customizations…
A reminder to Blizzard that without, at least, something like this, SL will be another Warlords of Draenor that doesn’t really add much by way of new play options - classes, etc.
I thought they would have learned their lesson from that.

A comment a person made on my thread on the same topic. Is that with the revamped leveling system.
New race/class combos would be a good way to encourage veteran players to give the new leveling revamp a good shake.

I’ve honestly been wanting to level some more alts lately - but I just already have all the class/race combos that interest me at this point. I struggle to stay interested in any of the other ones currently available that I don’t already have at 120.
I’d love to see some new ones just for that reason, if absolutely nothing else.
Blizzard wishes to promote “cultural purity” with their races. You must not deviate from the path your culture sets for you.

I recall a few people saying that Goblins couldn’t ever be Monks because they could never be “Zen” enough, and their Greed makes it impossible to be Monks, let alone selfless.
I think I’ve already cited Gakkiz Blusterblast as an example in this thread (And if not, hey! He’s a Goblin Monk!)
But in the DK starting zone, in the quest where you have to kill your old friend to appease the lich king, the Goblin mentions how you saved their life by helping them kick what’s essentially a drug habit.
You were the only good goblin I knew. That’s how I ended up in the Argent Dawn, because I knew it’s what you woulda done. How could this have happened to you?
So Goblins can be Altruistic when they need to be of course.
But also, there’s a Pandaren in the Horde side of Ashran who is meditating near a Goblin machine rig who says that the sounds are “strangely meditative” to him. So who’s to say that other Goblins wouldn’t find comfort in that?
Of course, since Worgen are the mirror race to Goblins, I’d really hope for Worgen Monks as well, especially since their whole thing is finding balance between their “Civility & Savagery”

At this point, there is really no logical reason why worgen and goblins can’t both just be monks. That’s just really all there is to it.

The only ones I really care about are Night Elf Paladins and Pandaren Paladins/Druids. But whatever they eventually give should be good.
I would say with enough Light use, the altrustic ones would probably be the Holy Priests. Just watch out for those crazy fake shadow priests. They take your money and leave you crazy! Huge ripoff.
I would be down for a few new race/class options in shadowlands especially if that included the allied races

Long, long overdue for new combinations.
Give me my Orc Demon Hunter please! I would have mained DH in Legion if I wasn’t forced to be a scrawny little elf! I would take up the 4 button god life if they gave me such!
Metamorphosis takes on the Bleeding Hollow Berserker and Fel Orc model.
Make Draenei Demon Hunter the Alliance counterpart, with the Manari Eredar being the Metamorphosis forms.
This also brings back to life the Orc vs Draenei conflict pre WC1.

I don’t see why not. Orcs have learned to control the fel and Draenei have shown the ability to as well.

I’m absolutely down for that, too.
I just really, really want more variety than we have right now. I want to be able to play new class/race combos and level new things. I want my worgen paladin. I’d level an orc demon hunter in a heartbeat, too. Same for a blood elf druid. Worgen and goblin monks are long, long overdue. And I’d love to see pretty much any new combinations they could add.
We just really need some new, refreshing variety.

Belf Druid is my future main. I’ve been saying this since Burning Crusade.
I’m not even a super Blood Elf guy either but the animal forms would be amazing with Ghostpaw Lynx, Amani War Bears, Dragonhawks, etc, etc! Would be rad.
