Love this one! I do think Half Elves would either need the option of customizable ears/eyebrows length or white pupils, cause if you end too far on either side of the spectrum, you end up as either a human with pointy ears, or an elf with more facial hair.
I don’t think that’s avoidable, so I think the best would be to have one entirely different model with different options to get closer to either parentage.
this one is cool too. very knightly. the light hair with dark eyebrows is a cool effect.

Those examples don’t really work for WoW tho; WoW’s elves have notoriously long ears.
In such framing, that beautiful half elf just looks like a Human with tattoos in WoW parameters.

I will say WoW’s design makes it rather difficult for half elves to be a thing. I wonder ifthat is why they had no real appetite to design a new model.

To be fair, humans exist in real life so you can use what exists.

Honestly I think we can only see the WoW averages as any sort of guideline.
If we transplant WoW humans to our reality, then it means Elves in WoW are generally more lithe, which tracks with other elven portrayals.
IDK, proportions don’t seem that much of a hassle for me, Half Elves can look non-distinguishably humanoid and be set apart by their animation set, mostly like Nightborne are.

wow elf ears are so long, we could have then significantly shorter and they’d still show up as elf ears. and those eyebrows…

you know they’ve lost alot of customers over this also. especially during some of the more infamous gaffs. what business expects to keep customers by abusing them, and not just at the production level but verbally, in public?
one person said its because alliance players are masochists. that doesnt even remotely resemble me but i’m not a sadist either. being forced to pick between those two positions drove me to classic where decisions of that magnitude hadn’t become an issue yet.
Oh good, I see one of the rays of sunshine is here to encourage alliance players and not at all depress participation by screaming about how everything is stacked against them.
