Nelf paladin
Belf druid
Draenei rogue
Worgen monk
Goblin monk
Lightforged monk
Basically every race should be able to be monk cause thats how it was origionally meant (save for goblin and worgen who didnt for some reason)

Again, is this a serious question? The Horde has allowed Warlocks in their ranks for almost 16 years now…
“Allow” is a strong word. But getting back to the original intent of this particular conversation… why no Highmountain Warlocks? Particularly when comparing their narrative to that of Nightbourne or Orc Warlocks?
Agreed. Supplementary material for past games shouldn’t be considered canon, rather the birth of later ideas. In this case, the night elves.
At least, not yet :).
Because the Feltotem did not join the Horde.
yeah I think we killed them all
It’s assumed because of the retcon. That’s pretty much happening even in the most recent lore. If it can be changed once, it can be changed again.
So if it does change and blood elves get druids, you going to accept it as part of the new retconned lore?
The Blood Elves really just don’t care for nature magic. They can do more to the environment with arcane, which is why Eversong is so unique. They shaped the forest how they liked it and then infused it with magic to lock it into an eternal spring.
Blood Elves absolutely could study Druidism, they just think it is inferior to arcane, so why bother.
That would be a huge ret-con since they were exiled for their use of Arcane magic, not Nature I just don’t see it happening.
But would I accept it? Of course. What choice would I have? I either deal with playing with belf Druids or quit.
How glib and obtuse. Why make the decision not to include Warlocks when other cultures who followed identical paths in their history have those decisions reflected in the class choices?
But nightborne and orcs made a culture wide decision to go into the fel (of course excluding the rebels). The bloodtotem alienated themselves from the rest of highmountain by becoming feltotem.
Huh how is the truth “glib and obtuse?” That makes no sense.
The Bloodtotem that aligned with the Legion became Warlocks and Demon Hunters… I think? I don’t know what the ones with wings are. And the ones that didn’t join the Legion and use Fel went to Thunder Totem.
I would. I just wouldn’t use dated supplementary material as evidence. You should check out the original warcraft tabletop game, it has some interesting early ideas while not being canon.
I think you’d make a stronger case with the botanists in TBC. Either way, there’s no telling how current races can evolve into the future.
Actually, he wouldn’t. Botantist warp and mutate nature for selfish reasons. They’re pretty much the opposite of a Druid.
Those are actually like, just big demon wings like the Doom Lords have. Since fel makes regular life into demonic life with horns and wings and demony things.
True, but the idea is there. Blood knights had a more selfish introduction too.

Mostly the Beliefs & Practices area I’m referencing for druidism in Blood Elves society returning through retcon, or relearning from their elders/tomes perhaps leftover from when the exodus took place.
Blood Knights only did their vampire thing for a very short time before the Sunwell was fixed.
Also, another thing belves do that would make a Druid facepalm is they locked Eversong Woods into a permanent spring. It can’t even go through the seasons. And they do this to keep it “pretty.”
I just can’t see Blizzard ever doing belf Druids unless they pull a Fonzie.
Worgen/Goblin Monks. At this point there is no way in hell that Worgen and Goblin haven’t had a chance to learn from a Monk.
True but still had druid abilities. What about goblin shaman can someone explain that to me. How are they not selfishly bending the elements?
