New Pre raid BIS

Energy in chunks isn’t so bad. Even with chunks rogue is one of the best raid dps.

Well that’s tough. Some players are going to go faster and some slower. There will be players who burn through the content as soon as its released. I’m certain the only progression based on players will be the AQ event. I’m sure we will know when content is going to release ahead of time. You have until then to clear it. Some guilds will even be clearing MC when Naxx is out. New guilds pop up all the time even on pservers.

The the only downside (and a big one) of itemized progression. At the end of the day (or “patches”), you’ll end up with 1.12 all over again. Meaning, that if you take a year or 2 or however long it is to get to the end, to level, you’ll be playing 1.12 itemization and whatever Blizzard decides to make progressive.

So much for a “museum” piece if they are doing the patch progression.

Strength only gives melee AP.

  • Warriors, Shamans, Druids and Paladins gain 2 melee attack power per point of strength.

  • Rogues, Hunters, Mages, Priests and Warlocks gain 1 melee AP per point of strength.

Agility gives ranged and melee AP, though that depends on the class.

  • Warriors, Hunters and Rogues gain 2 ranged attack power for each point of agility.
  • Hunters, Rogues and Druids in Cat Form gain 1 melee attack power per point of agility.

Speaking for enhance shammies they don’t. 1 Belt (which can be replaced from BRD) and their second choice and third choice weapon (if they don’t go AR or Nightfall) come from DM.

But thats an authentic experience for someone who took that long back in the day. Not seeing the issue here.

Well, they did say that they wanted Classic to be a museum piece. To me, that implies a non changing state. But what they’re doing now with item progression is heck of a lot better than what they were doing before. Color me impressed, Blizzard.

Going in with full greens and whatever 2 hander I can find as Ret, and demanding first Bonereavers.

Mate you got your win - this is what you wanted and you’re still not happy?

Oh, I’m totally happy. I’m glad that people will experience some form of an authentic experience closer to what it was. Which at the end, is what I wanted. Vanilla was just too large a part of my life.

But, I just resonated more withi the “museum piece” comment Blizzard made a while back. That seemed like it had more sustainability. Patch progression has more finality to it.

That’s where I’m coming from. I guess i associate 1.12 and the “final patch” as the games “end”.

Okay fair enough. For what it’s worth I think this is a great result. While I was happy with 1.12 in a static state I think this is even better and ensures the earlier raids are more challenging whilst making no changes.

Paladin net changes now…
-7 stam
-19 intel
-8 mp5
-53 healing
-2% crit

I’m excited, should make MC a little bit more fun if priests/druids…and casters are in similar boats.

This is where I got the paladin numbers…

The 2% crit and throughput reduction should have some impact. The Mp5 loss isn’t too bad though.
