New powerful alliance race

Were-dragons. Like Wrathion - 1/2 human 1/2 dragon. They can change form and have firebreath as a racial bonus. They also have natural skin armor.

Alliance doesn’t get cool things.
Roll horde.

Wraithion is a full blooded dragon though.

I get what you are saying though.
Maybe a bunch of dragons were cursed in their humanoid forms or something?
A few racials That change based on the dragon flight you choose?

Full dragon though? Idk

Hate to agree with this but we didn’t get Sethrak or Aarkkoa which would have been way better than mecha-gnomes and fat humans.

The brutal truth right here. :kissing_heart:

The victim complex is very alive.

Don’t need to roll Horde for cool things.

Cool things are subjective.

This is true, my bad Rosenylund. I mean they did get all the horses, so there’s that.

Wrathion isn’t a “were-dragon”. He’s a regular dragon. They can shape shift.

I would not be surprised if another powerhouse Joins the Alliance.
They do have Elves who draw upon the Infinite Shadow, the most powerful elven Druids, Human Mages who’s power could easily accede that of Azshara. As well as a race of humans with one of the most powerful druid forms juiced up by the Elune’s Scythe.

When thinking about it, every race within the Alliance is a complete powerhouse in their own way.

They will fit right in!

(Commentary): Perhaps to regain the ability to reproduce the Dragons must assume a less powerful form or such? I’ve seen Dragonsworn tossed around a few times as an Allied Race concept as well.

(Commentary): Hey, if the Horde got our elves from WC2, then we should take their dragons.

It’ll just be a core race, no need to unlock it once they make my Wrathuin ship canon.

as opposed to were-dragons. I’d rather we have wereodiles. Half man, half crocodile, 100% killing machine.

From Warcraft 2 eh?

If only there was some sort of Warcraft… three that would explain why you don’t get elves.

(Commentary): You say this as if the Horde doesn’t have the same thing.

  • Blood Elves: Empowered by an infinite source of Light and Arcane magic.
  • Forsaken: Pseudo-Immortal people who require no food or sleep.
  • Highmountain Tauren: The entire race was blessed by an Ancient.
  • Nightborne: Highborne, but actually better than the remnants that joined the Night Elves.
  • Zandalari: Loa-Blessed Trolls of immense power, wealth, and influence.

Yeah, because they hate Stormwind for what Lordaeron did to them. (Lordaeron joined the Horde btw - same Lordaeron that enslaved the orcs)

And your point is?

(Commentary): That neither side is lacking in power house races. Your statement in and of itself suggested the Alliance has an excess of powerful races, while the Horde has a lack. The two sides are fairly equal.

(Commentary): That wasn’t the point of my statement. The point of my statement was, “give the Alliance a race shown as Horde from the RTS, just as the Horde got a race from the Alliance from the RTS.” Dragons even have more reasons to ally with the Alliance than the Horde, really.

Perhaps you’re correct, but than again when you are familiar with their weaknesses they all seem quite “lacking” from your perspective.

Basically this. Why would they give anything that takes time and effort to the Alliance if all the Devs, and the Raiders, and most of the consistent playerbase is on the Horde.

At the end of the day, Blizzard is a money making company. They won’t do anything at all unless it gets past their bean counters.

And I guarantee you any accountant in the world will tell you to pander to your audience.

Let me introduce you to Dwarves - by far the most laid back coolest race in RPG lore ever.
