Sadly it isn’t that simple. You could be playing the class of your dreams but if you push yourself to burnout, then you will indeed burn out. I’m also a player who enjoys the journey more than the destination. Once zones start to seem less enjoyable to me I can grow bored. I recommend just experimenting and pushing forward a bit at a time with each class you enjoy until one sticks. It never hurts to let them get rested.
Luckily I pretty much have each class just none of them past 50 so I guess that’s some solid advice. I try to stay away from fotm classes such as lock and hunter but those two classes are both pretty fun to level. Thanks for the advice!
No worries. Now that we’re into BC while they’re fun to level, classes will start to shine later in the game. I loved leveling hunter from start to finish for example. The solo and group dynamics for one are great for the average player. I also enjoyed leveling my ret Paladin here solo with the occasional dungeon until I hit 60 and spammed dungeons with the guild until I was 70. It’s just trial and error.
I would recommend trying new things/tactics. For an example if playing a hunter, trying to pull 1 guy ajd never letting it hit you and not have your pet tank. Then pull 2 guys without letting them hit you with not pet taunting off.
Then switch it up and go first into melee range then figure out how to kill in super close proximity.
Just little things like that help me keep it fresh and makes one a better player.
Pick which one is the least boring to you. Ive leveled a warrior, mage, and priest but leveled both an alliance rogue and a horde rogue SO rouge it is it seems.
Sounds like stupid advice but I’m a altaholic also
Each class has pros and cons. Each player also has different likes and dislikes as to what they want to play.
Only you know how you like to play … do you like to tank? Then you have Druids, Paladins, and Warriors to choose from. Do you like to heal? You have priests, shamans, paladins, druids. Do you like to DPS? You have a plethora of options to pick from, which can be broken down into melee, range (hunter), or caster.
If you like them all, then you need to roll a druid … cause they can do everything under the sun. Just not as good as the other classes.
Altoholic here, certainly one stands out more than the other. If not, start a pros and cons list; do you like group content more than solo, perhaps roll with something groups need (tanks). CC becomes a pretty useful thing in TBC, Rogues, mages, hunters are good at this.
Some cons: All you see are mages, or Huntards; the guild you’re in has all their tanks and you really want to raid tank etc.
I have wanted to tank however I’ve never tanked before in my life and it seems like it’s a ton harder than dps. I play Druid on retail so that and mage have been the two that stand out to me
