Do i need to take the current Authenticator on my account and download a new one on to my new phone? Because i think every downloaded Authenticator has a different ID right?
Let me know please so i can finish setting up my new phones apps.
If you still have the old phone, then you can clone your authenticator to your new phone using the restoration code from the app on the old phone

As Perl indicated, you can clone the Authenticator to another device using the transfer code and serial number in the appropriate panel of the Authenticator app running on the old phone.
With the same phone number, SMS protect wouldn’t even be affected.

Also, when I replaced my old phone after its battery was all but dead, I found that you can use the SMS code to restore your authenticator to your new phone directly. It asks you to verify via the text message code after you log in.
