New pet, not

You can ask on wwwDOTinaturalistDOTorg and fill in the info they ask for. You could probably get an ID from them.

Oscar! :snake: Don’t be scaring the nice priest lady!

If you wouldn’t mind, please toss him in a cardboard box, punch a few air holes in it, and I’ll be by in the morning to pick him up.

And I promise I’ll try harder to not let him get out again and bother you.

for some reason, this thread reminded me of:

Yikes. No snakes in Hawaii and that’s heavily enforced. No pet snakes, no wild ones.

We only have geckos and chameleon and once a runaway box turtle in my backyard. Snakes are scary!

I was being sarcastic, lol!

oh wow, I didn’t know you didn’t have wild snakes in hawaii!

Did you start a pet battle to see what quality it is? Probably a common, not worth capturing.

That was my first thought also.

It’s just a friendly neighborhood danger noodle coming to say hi!

My neighbor told me mamma snake lives across the street

I’m sure I’ll meet her at some point

Ignore him. They aren’t venomous and this little guy will be your place’s pest control for free.

That’s what I hear, I’m leaving it alone

I do wish he wouldn’t eat the little lizards we have they are so darn cute

Pet the noodle! :sob:

It’s a snake :stuck_out_tongue:

Call the humane society or animal control or the fire department/police station (NOT 911), I’m sure there’s someone who will collect it for you

If I could find a snake that kills squirrels, I’d have a dozen of them in my back yard. Nothing poisonous, just something to give them a little hug…to death.

But look how adorable!

DEFINATLY

Hawks are better at controlling squirrels than snakes.
